Chapter 8

I got ready with excitement and also packed my bags so I could finally leave and forget Sam and that I ever accepted this stupid job.

I put mascara and red lipstick on.I wore a beautiful red knee-length dress with no sleeves,black heels,but not to high,because I didn't want to fall on my first date did I?I fixed my hair and then I heard the noise of a horn.Yeah I'm trying to make this romantic,we're in a hotel near a road,so there are plenty of horns.The Thorn texted me

Thorn- I'm hereeee

I started to look for my purse,but I couldn't find it.I unpacked everything looking for my purse in my bags,but it was nowhere to be seen.I texted Thorn.

Me-Come upstairs,I can't find my purse...come to the biggest suite here

After some minutes I hear a knock at the door,it was Thorn.

"Why do you need your purse,I'm gonna pay" He said as I smacked him.

"I need my phone and I'm gonna pay" I said as we started to argue about who was going to pay without even going out and then we burst out laughing.

I got in Sam's room and surprisingly he was wearing a white t-shirt and I could see his biceps move while he write something on his computer.His hair were messy and he was also wearing blue jeans.No suit?I'm impressed.

"Umm Sam have you seen my purse?" I asked,but he didn't even faced me.Maybe he didn't heard me.

"Sam,did you heard me?" I said again,but Sam didn't said anything or even look at me.

"SAM DID YOU HEAR ME" I shouted as he faced me in anger.Mr.McGrumpy's green eyes met my hazel ones as he got up.

"I heard you woman,I heard you.You're my maid,you're supposed to help me not the opposite.Do your job as long as your hired.When you get in that plane tomorrow you're free.As far as I care you can jump from it" He said walking past me,pushing me with his shoulder as I didn't knew what to say.

The he threw something at me "Here's your purse,you left it at the car" 

Without even looking at him,I got out and went straight to Thorn's car.

"Where are we going" I asked for the 100-th time by now.

"You'll see" He said as I wanted to bang my head against the car's window.

"You know it's not romantic when boys don't tell girls where they are taking them" I said as he started to laugh for no frigging reason.

After half an hour we were in front of a park.It was dark and I could only see a small light.

"Let's follow the light" He said and that's what we did and when we arrived my jaw touched the ground.

There was a small table with candles and of course food.We could see the moon and the stars...it was the most amazing thing I have ever seen.

"Omg Thorn did you do this?" I said hugging him as he did the same.

"No,it fall from the sky" Thorn sarcastically said as I roll my eyes.We sat down and started to eat and talk.I found out so many interesting things that made me like Thorn more.

Suddenly my phone rang.

Mr.McGrumpy-  Come fast,you need to get up early tomorrow

I ignored the text and apologized to Thorn when my phone rang again.

Mr.McGrumpy- Be careful...as far as you know he may take your kidneys and sell them...like I care

I turned the volume of my phone off and me and Thorn started to talk again.

"You like olives?" I asked as he shook his head and sniffed in disgust.

"Yeah I unfortunately agree with you.I think they have a weird taste" I said as we both started to laugh.Then my phone buzzed,then buzzed again and again.

Mr.McGrumpy- Are your kidneys in their places

Mr.MrGrumpy- Come fast somebody is knocking and I don't have anyone to go get it

Mr.McGrumpy- Maid? Listen to me when I type to you

Mr.McGrumppy- MAID? YOU NEED YOUR KIDNEYS TO WORK,AT LEAST YOU NEED ONE OF THEM.DON'T LET HIM TAKE THEM BOTH UNTIL TOMORROW.

How did he even got my number?I don't remember giving it to him.

I turned my phone off and we started to talk,eat and laugh like stupid in a silent park.Then we lied down on the grass and we saw the stars, let's say this is the most romantic thing I have ever done in my whole life.

"I think I like you" Thorn confessed as we both faced each other.His beautiful blue eyes glued,his blond hair made him look cuter and he had a sweet face not like Sam...wait why am I comparing them,what am I doing ughhhh.

"I think I like you too" I said as we were about to kiss when...no nobody's phone rang,a cat meowed and scared us to death.

We got up and in an awkward silence and went to the car.

"Well,that was awkward" I said as we both laughed and started the smooth conversation like we have been doing all night.It was already midnight and I hope Sam is awake to open me the door.

I opened my phone to see 5 new messages from Sam

Mr.McGrumpy- Why don't Torn,Horn whatever his name is drives you to the airport?

Mr.McGrumpy- I can throw your bag with rags from the window

Mr.McGrumpy- I hope he took both of your kidneys

Mr.McGrumpy- Did you got stuck on the elevator again

Mr.McGrumpy- Is there no signal or did your phone got lost at Britain's  sanitations,because I bet that's where the little kid organised his date

I don't get why does he hate Thorn so much,It's ridiculous,he did nothing to Sam.I'm gonna yack his head off as soon as we arrive.

"I really had fun" Thorn said as we were about to kiss when.

"Natalie Connor?" The guard of the hotel interrupted us as I angrily stare at him.

"Mr.Reynolds told me that if I see a blue Mercedes car and two people inside it I should check out if his maid has her kidneys" He said as Thorn looked confused and I gave him an apologetic  smile before kissing him on the cheek and going to my room.

Sam is so dead.
