Frenemy, part 2

My eyes fluttered open and arms were wrapped around me. I smiled.

Then I hear my phone vibrating on a desk or something. I thought I had it in my coat's pocket. I guess Derek took it out. I looked at his nightstand and there was it. I reached for it but Derek pulled me back into his chest. I let out a chuckle. I turned to look at him and he was still asleep.

My phone continued to vibrate and I tried to reach it again but Derek pulled me back and held me tighter. I let out another chuckle.

''Stay.'' He mumbled into my hair.

My phone continued vibrating but I didn't try to reach it. I look at the clock and it says 10:00 am. Oh, God! I have school today! What if it's mom calling me?

I tried to reach my phone again and as I took it, Derek pulled me back into him and I chuckled.

I looked at my phone and I have two missed calls from Stiles and one missed calls from mom and two texts from Stiles.

The first message is:

Em, you need to come in the woods.

The second one is:

Em, call me when you see this. Scott told me that you weren't at school.

I let out a sigh. What did they do?

I turned my head to look at Derek and he was still asleep. Well, that surprise me a lot. I must have moved like a monkey when I tried to reach my phone.

But he looks so peaceful when he's asleep which is cute. I caressed his cheek with his thumb and his eyes fluttered open. I pulled my hand away.

''Sorry.'' I said. ''I didn't want to wake you up.''

He smiled. ''It's okay.''

He leaned forwards and kissed me and I kissed him back. My heart started beating faster.

But then, my stomach made the biggest growling sound. Derek pulled away and let out a laugh and I hit his chest playfully.

''Come on.'' He said as he stood up. He was still in his last night's clothes, so was I.

I stood up as well and I shivered when my feet touched the floor. The floor is really cold. I looked for my shoes and found them next to the nightstand and I put them on and followed Derek to the kitchen.

I've stayed with Derek almost all day. It was already 2:00 pm and---

My phone started ringing. I took it and it's Stiles.

I clicked on answer.

''Hey Stiles.'' I said.

''Hey can you join---where are you?''

I frowned. ''With Derek, why?'' Derek who was reading a book, looked up at me.

''Look, can you met me at your house?'' Stiles asked. ''It's kinda urgent.''

''Um, okay?'' And then he hung up. I'm wondering what's going on.

Derek parked his car in front of my house.

''Thanks.'' I told him as I turned my head to look at him.

''No problem.'' He said with a smile then pressed his lips against mine. I kissed him back but pulled away as Stiles parked his Jeep into the driveway.

''Well, I'll see you later.'' I told Derek and he nodded. ''Bye.'' I opened the car's door and got out and he drove off. I went into Stiles' Jeep and I frowned at him.
