Scott and I arrived back home.

Mom is already here. Yay!

''Hey mom.'' I said, walking in the kitchen.

''Hey Emily.'' She said. ''How was your day?''

I hesitated and then answered, ''Good.'' I know if I told her it was bad, she would ask me why and I really don't want to tell her.

''I'm going to sleep!'' Scott yelled from the living room. ''Goodnight.''

''Goodnight.'' Mom and I yelled.

''I'm going to go sleep too.'' I told mom. She nodded.

''Good night, Em.'' I went downstairs. I didn't go in my bedroom though. I'm not tired but bored. I smirked. I went in Scott's room who is asleep on his bed. I grabbed one of his pillow and it him with it. Scott growled.

''Em.'' Scott growled. ''Leave me alone. I want to sleep.'' I laughed. I hit him again. ''Mom!!''

My eyes widened and I ran into my bedroom and jumped in my bed and lay down.

''Emily, leave your brother alone!'' Mom yelled from downstairs.

''I didn't do anything!'' I yelled back.

I turned my head and saw Derek sitting on my chair smiling.

''Hey.'' He said.

I smiled, ''Hey.''

He stood up and came to lay next to me in my bed.

He wrapped an arm around me and pulled me closer to him and I smiled.

He pressed his lips against mine and kissed me softly and I kissed him back. He pulled away but I pressed my lips against his again.

We pulled away and he smiled at me.

''I love you.'' He whispered and I smiled.

''I love you too.''

I opened my eyes and slapped my alarm clock. I looked at the clock. 7:45 am. My eyes widened. I'm going to be late for school. Anyway, I didn't have any nightmares last night so.... PARTY TIME. Well, no. I don't really want to do a party but yay! Anyway, mostly of the time that I'm with Derek, I don't see Peter anywhere and doesn't have a lot of nightmares. I looked at Derek and he was still asleep.

I slowly got out of my bed, without making any sound and then I quickly went towards my drawers and grabbed my clothes then I ran into my bathroom and changed my clothes as fast as I could. I ran downstairs and eat my breakfast.

''Em?'' I looked behind me and saw my mom with a baseball bat and she's in her pajamas. ''What are you doing?'' She asked tiredly.

''Eating. Why? ''I asked.

''It's only three in the morning.'' She answered. Scott!! I stood up and ran in my brother's room.

''Scott!!'' I yelled waking him up. His eyes shot open and he looked at me. He busted out of laughing. ''It was you, huh?''

''Well, it's my vengeance from last night when you hit me with a pillow.'' He answered. Mom arrived in Scott's room.

''Can someone explain me what's going on?'' Mom asked confused.

''Scott changed the hour on my alarm clock.'' I told her, looking at Scott angrily.

Mom sighed. ''Ok. Well, I'm going to go sleep.'' Then she left. What? She's supposed to defend me! Not going back to sleep! Oh, God!! I hope she doesn't see Derek in my room.
