Ever since the water bottle incident, that happened in the cafeteria, things were not the same. I mean if they were, I wouldn't be sitting outside the headmasters' office waiting for Allison to get her punished sorted. Oh right! You have no clue what happened, do you now? Well, my beloved newly-found friend Allison had decided to stick to her words and kick the guy, who had previously thrown the water bottle at my head - which hurt, in the balls, just in case you were wondering. I couldn't help but feel happy that I finally had someone standing up for me, a nobody, whose words are taken for granted in this damned place.

Interestingly enough, while Allison was proceeding kicking the guys' balls, quite literally, Nathan seemed to have his thoughts focused elsewhere, I could see him staring at me from my peripheral vision. For a while, I pondered on whether I was hallucinating or not. But soon, I braced myself and finally focused my eyes on his, my speculations were indeed correct. Nathan had seemed surprised of our little exchange, however, he soon turned his head towards the guy getting his life beaten out of him by Allison, stood up and decided to step in.

Of course, the story did not end there, soon the teachers and the headmaster herself were made aware of the fight, or rather, one-way beating. Before Nathan could do anything to help ease the situation, the headmaster was already yelling at Allison, ushering her to come to her office for a talk. I couldn't help but feel guilty for Allison, in all technicalities, it is my fault she's in that office, probably getting the life sucked out of her by the snakemaster. It is my fault she's going to get punished, it's all my god damn fault!

The wait, that had seemed to be unnecessarily long, had finally been halted, as Allison had stepped out of the headmaster's office. Her demeanor had remained the same as before, I was surprised as to how well she was coping with the situation. Her face, which had been scrunched up and basically looked like a raisin softened as soon as her eyes had laid on me. "I am shooketh." She said, grinning as if she was proud of something.

I expected her to yell, to blame everything on me, she had probably been suspended. Fuck, why do I have to be the laughing stock of the school, why can't I be normal? My expectations, however, were instantly diminished and soon the familiar feeling of confusion had wafted back into my little world.

I tilted my head at her, like a little puppy that was lost. "What?"

"That bitch suspended me for the remainder of the week, can you believe that?!" Allison's voice had hinted the traces of fury within it, although it still came out calm and collected. "I mean, I was only defending you from some bully, who wouldn't give up on ruining your day." She finished, facial features signalizing she was confused.

I'm very surprised that she was not mad at me, no, not surprised. I was glad that she wasn't mad at me, I didn't want to get beaten today!

I opted for apologizing immediately since the Canadian stereotype is still strong within the world, isn't it? "I'm so sorry, it's all my fault this happened, you didn't have to attack him for someone like me..." I said, looking and feeling down.
