No disrespect to Hinata, but she is a delicate flower that requires love and attention. Kiba gave her this in a brotherly way until Naruto could man up to give her what she needed and married her. Now, Shikamaru is lazy and doesn't really want to do anything.
Hinata is too shy to be a topper and Shikamaru just doesn't have the motivation, so there's definitely nothing sexual about them either.
Now, how do they look together?
Meh. I've seen worse (SasuSaku), but I've also seen better (NaruHina.)
