Now here is some real world logic for those defending invest ships; birth defects, still borne.... Still think siblings should Bang? The resulting offspring would more than likely be plagued with several health issues, if they are even born alive. Children need genetic variation to help ensure that they do not get certain disorders that often hide in recessive genes... you get your genes from your family.

Same sex couples cannot reproduce, correct... but it is morally wrong to be attracted to your own family and it is quite often considered to be immoral. Plus, most people are homophobic. Siblings also cannot marry in the few places that it is considered, for one reason or another, to date your family. Same sex marriage is legal in even less.
