Tobias POV

It's been almost a week and a half. I haven't slept through the night in forever. I cry so much more then usual which occasionally gets me a tease from Zeke.

"Legendary Four... Crying?!" He would say smiling a bit. I would force a laugh, but really I didn't care how much I cried at this point. Tris changed me. She is my other half. I can't let her go.

I make sure to never leave Tris's side. The doctor has told me that her life must come to an end. He said its not worth waiting for a day that she'll wake. A day that'll never come, as he puts it. I sob for hours and finally I take Tris's hand and look at the floor with my elbows on my knees.

"Tris, he says it's over. They're going to take you off life support. They're going to pull the plug. I just want you to know. I love you. I always have. I always will. No matter how far you go. Just please don't ever forget me." I am completely sobbing. I can't believe this is the last day I have with her.

"T-Toias, w-why would they d-do t-that?"
I hear. No. It can't be. Can it? Tris! I look up to see her looking at me with a pale face. She looks very weak. I think my heart skips a beat.

"TRIS!" I practically scream. I run to her side and pull her into a hug trying to be gentle. I continue to cry. But this time it's not out of grief. It's happiness. She's back. I explain to her how she almost died. She faintly smiles. I've missed her smile so much. I tell her to stay where she is and I run to get to the doctor. I swing the door open to see all of our friends sitting in the waiting room chairs, with wet cheeks, blotchy cheeks and bags under their eyes. I'm guessing the doctor told them the news. I walk to then with a huge smile on my face and this makes everyone look up with the most hope in their eyes I've seen in forever.

"She's back." I croak holing in tears, I manage to smile at the same time. Their eyes widen. I turn and look around a corner to see the doctor. And I run to him.

"TRIS! S-she woke u-up!" I say panting.

"Wonderful!" Is all he says. I glare at him. He can't be serious? He's so careless and it's really getting on my last nerve. I turn to go see Tris again and he follows. We all enter and run to tris and give her a hug.

*time lapse*

I'm carrying tris bridal style back to Uriah's apartment. She has her arms wrapped around my neck. I kiss the top of her head and she smiles.

"I knew you could pull through." I whisper as we sit on the train.

She looks up at me and says, "I wouldn't dream of leaving you." She cuddles into my chest and I rest my head on hers as we ride back to dauntless watching the sunset.

So this chapter is no different. Just from Tobias's POV I hope you enjoyed it😙😊
