Tobias POV

I'm in the Pit looking for a gift for Tris. Since neither of our families usually come to the visiting days, I was going to take her on a date and give her a gift. I mean we had nothing better to do right? Plus I didn't exactly know if visiting day made her feel her best. I think she just misses her family, I feel bad that her they don't usually come. She says it makes her feel un-important, and like they don't care about her. But I deny that completely. I need to show her how special she really is. I look through the windows of some shops, but nothing really speaks to me. I need something small but big at the same time. It describes her perfectly because she may be small, but she has a big heart, an outgoing and wild spirit. Behind her fearful eyes, she shows bravery. She shows people that she's willing to take risks. Bravery. This gift needs to be perfect.

Suddenly my thoughts are interrupted when I see a short blonde head charging at me. I focus my eyes and see her. Tris. Luckily I am fast enough to catch her. I stumble backward a bit but it doesn't effect me, I embrace her into a hug and she holds onto me for dear life. She's crying uncontrollably. I see Christina behind her with a worried look, which makes me worried. I feel my stomach twist and my mind races with possibilities. I mouth a,

"What happend?" To Christina, she just shakes her head and look at the ground, which tells me that Tris will tell me later. I swear if someone tried to hurt her, I will hurt them. And it won't be pretty.

"Tris do you want to talk about it at my place?" I ask in a soothing voice. She just nods and we wave to Christina and she heads back into another shop. Tris and I walk in complete silence to my apartment. Tris is still clinging to me with her arms wrapped around me. I have an arm wrapped around her shoulder. And I'm holding onto her like if I let go, things would be bad. I hope nothing too serious happened because I hate to see Tris in pain. I unlock the door and lead Tris inside. She plops herself on the couch and I sit with her with a blanket on top of us. She cuddles into me and takes a deep breathe, closing her eyes. Eventually she asks,

"So do you want to know what happend?" She asks looking up at me.

"Of course." I reply tucking a piece of lose hair behind her ear.

She opens her eyes and begins tells me everything, she talks really fast as she explains how Al knew I was her boyfriend, but he wanted her to cheat on me. But she didn't. That makes me feel a feeling I never really felt before. She had the choice to cheat on me, an oppertunity, right in front of her. But she didn't. For once I actually feel... Loved. She finishes explaining and all I can do is smile. She raises an eyebrow.

"What?" She asks

"You really love me don't you?" I ask smirking.

"Obviously." She states flipping her hair.

"I mean really though, you could've cheated on me, but you didn't." I say.

"I wouldn't even dream of doing that to you." She says. I kiss her and we watch tv until eventually we are both out cold on the couch. Before my eyes close I manage to say,

"I love you, Tris." She's in my arms and it couldn't get better then this.

I'm sorry that it takes kinda a long time to update sometimes but I feel really insecure about this book and I don't really like it so I have to keep editing my chapters to their perfection, that's why it takes so long. Idk if I like this book... Oh well..
