My head was spinning. The world was silent. The universe was making me suffer for my crimes.
Their lips touched.
And on that exact second, someone pressed the pause button on life.
I couldn't move, couldn't hear, couldn't feel. I couldn't look away, couldn't stop this suffocating feeling in my chest. I felt like dying right then and there. Right now, that doesn't sound like the worst fate.
I sat there, unable to move an inch, not able to flinch when I heard an unforgiving voice echoing through my empty world.
"This is your punishment, for betraying your family, for befriending their kind. You will suffer for your mistakes, until you're ready to behave yourself like a good boy."
I stared at my best friend kissing my love. I couldn't help but feel betrayed myself, even though it wasn't his fault, it was mine.
I internally grinned. No matter how hard you try, I'm not going back there. That place was hell anyways. Thanks, but no thanks. I thought. This was our way of communicating.
"Of course it was hell there, it literally is Hell! Since you obviously don't feel enough pain yet, let's crank it up a notch!"
Bring it on...
