I feel like I've made you suffer in wait long enough... so here it is! The show!

Ha! You thought this was actually it, right? WRONG! YOU AIN'T GATTING NO UPDATE!

FINE! Fine! Just stop making those puppy-face eyes at me! Here it is! Agh! My eyes-they burn!

Annabeth's POV

Artemis was standing there, with her silver bow slung on her shoulder, and following her was a silver deer. She fed it some apple, before turning back to me.

Her glare was intense, and even in 9-year old form, she radieted power and strenght.

The deer nuzzled her, then came up to me. I backed up a bit.

"Don't be afraid of Abbie," Artemis encouraged. "Pet her, she's nice."

Hesitating, I reached out my arm and patted the doe on the head. It was beautiful, a pretty little thing, with big creamy white spots on her light brown soft neck.

I swear, in the 18 years I have lived, I have never felt anything so... silky. As a patted, I gave a little gasp, which proves that I was feeling just a little bit in awe.

Abbie nuzzled my hand. Quickly, all the other huntresses came up to pet her too.

"Annabeth," Artemis commented as she looked at me. "You look different. More stronger now. Way different then how you looked on Olympus about 5 hours ago."

I bowed my head in a kind of shame. So she remembers the Olympus meeting. So she'll have no choice but to make me die.

"She's one of us now," Thalia told Artemis, looking a bit confused. "She's said the pledge... "

"Oh, so you are one of us now? A huntress?" Artemis looked at me peculiarly. "But don't you have a boyfriend?"

"Remember?" I mumble. "The gods told me themselves: they killed him."

Thalia gasped loudly. "Wait-what?" Of course, I hadn't told her. Didn't really want to tell her. After all, Percy has been a hero to Olympus. Why would they go and kill him? It might make Thalia fear for her own life.

"I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT!"  I bellow.

"Annabeth, control yourself!" Artemis shouted, sounding almost exactly like Mom back there on Olympus. She had a sympathetic look on her face, like she was sorry for me.

I calmed down, and hugged Thalia. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you," my voice got muffled in her sleeve.

Thalia hugged me even closer. "I know," that's all she had to say to make me feel better.

"Please don't kill me," I whispered to artemis.

"Why would I kill my own huntress?" asked Artemis, while I stared at her in shock. "C'mon, my dear girl, you didn't really think I wanted the death of you. No, it was really only Zeus and Hera, and since they are our 'rulers'," she said mockingly, "We must obey. But don't worry, you will be safe here, as a huntress. I swear, no one wil know Annabeth Chase is here. You'll be safe with me."

Happily, I ran into her warm arms and we shared a hug.

5 years later...
