ALTERNATE CHAPTER 6: The True One Part V
~Jerome: Age 19~
Because of the success of the VidGalore convention, a sort-of after party was going to be held for all the vloggers who attended, even though that was a few weeks ago. I was both excited to go, and not-so excited.
The not-so excited part was having to see the person who created a lot of lies about me just to make himself look like the victim.
Not only that but after Brandon and I broke up, he and Dirk seemed to have become best friends and the collaborated a lot. Their mutual hatred for me must have bonded them together.
But the excited part definitely had to be because I got to spend time with Nolan, and everyone would know that Jerlan was way better than anyone else.
As soon as Nolan and I walked into the venue where the party was taking place, Millie and Fitz spotted as and walked over. "Hi!" Millie said, giving both me a hug. She then gave Nolan a hug. "It's so good to see you again!"
"You too," Nolan said with a small smile.
"You two seriously don't know how happy I am that you're dating again," Millie said. "I never wanted to say anything because I'm your friend and I didn't want to make it seem like I was holding onto Jerlan, but you didn't seem as happy with Brandon as you always were with Nolan."
"It's true," Fitz said. "She would tell me all the time that she wants to tell you to dump Brandon, but she didn't want to seem like a jerk."
"Aw, Millie, you can never be a jerk," I said. "You're too nice for that."
"I still feel bad for wanting your other relationship to end," Millie said.
"Don't be," I said. "Trust me, I'm a lot happier now that I'm back together with Nolan."
"And Brandon is a leech," Nolan said.
"Yes, that too," I said. "Did you see what he posted about the break up?"
"Yeah, and that was so low of him," Millie said. "Fitz and I have been trying our hardest to ignore him, though it's not too hard since there are a lot of people here."
"I just hope we don't run into that leech," Nolan said. He never missed an opportunity to call Brandon a leech and honestly, I didn't blame him. Him lying about the break up did catch a lot of positive attention for him from the people that didn't know of me or him, so they wouldn't know that I was not that type of person. They just automatically thought he was telling the truth.
Too bad the Jeromans were the best fans anyone could ever have.
I just hoped if we ended up running into him, Nolan would go off. I didn't know if he would since he never met Brandon before, but maybe that would make him want to sass Brandon even more.
"They set up Mario Kart over there," Fitz said, pointing to the far side of the room. "Millie and I were about to check it out. You two should come as well because only four people could play so that would be a great way to avoid Brandon."
"Oh, we're in," I said. Mario Kart was one of the few video games Nolan actually liked playing, and he was pretty good at it.
The four of us headed over there right as the four people currently playing was just finishing up their game. When they finished, the person in charge asked who wanted to play and we said we did.
