ALTERNATE CHAPTER: Hart Street 7.2

~Alan: 16~

Was it bad that I was ignoring all my guests to pay attention to a very attractive one? Probably. Was I still going to paying attention to Brandon only with the party going on? Definitely.

But hey, it was my birthday so I could do whatever I wanted.

Maybe not the best mindset to have because I shouldn't believe that I should do whatever I want and get away with it, but I was going to keep the mindset on my birthday, especially my sixteenth birthday.

And I really wanted to keep paying attention to Brandon.

The house may have been a bit crowded during the party so people were constantly bumping into each other and as much as I loved the party, it was starting to get annoying, especially when I was in the middle of kissing Brandon and had to pull away because someone bumped into me too roughly.

I even lost count of how many times I've been bumped into. After yet another time, Brandon chuckled at my clear annoyance. "You're the one who invited all these people," he pointed out.

"I didn't think it was going to be this crazy," I said.

"Alan, you literally invited almost everyone in your grade," Brandon said. "I don't know how you can't think it could get this crazy."

"Okay, you have a point," I said. "But I would like to, you know, not be bumped into when I'm kissing my boyfriend. We can go somewhere else."

"Yeah, not happening," Brandon said. "It's your party. You can't leave."

"Who said anything about leaving?" I asked. "We'll still be in the house. Just in another room. A more secluded room."

"You're ridiculous," Brandon said. "That's still not happening."

I scowled as Brandon chuckled yet again and pressed his lips back on mine. I soon forgot about the annoyance I had from all the being bumped into as I kissed him back. Until we got interrupted. Yet again. This time from my sister.

"Do you two ever breathe?" Orchid asked, causing me and Brandon to pull away from each other so I could glare at her.

"Do you ever not be annoying?" I asked.

"Alan, you're the annoying triplet," Orchid said. "You literally call yourself The Annoying Triplet all the time."

"Do you three really have nicknames like that?" Brandon asked.

"Yep," I said. "Orchid is The Stylish Triplet and Nolan is The Gay Triplet."

"How come you're not The Bisexual Triplet if Nolan is the gay one?" Brandon asked.

"Because I'm more annoying than I am bisexual," I said.

"That... Doesn't make any sense," Brandon said.

I shrugged as Orchid said, "Anyway, I've been looking everywhere for Nolan. I checked him room but he wasn't there so I checked the whole house and I haven't seen him at all."

"I haven't seen him since he came down here to be boring and ask me to turn down the music," I said.

"Oh, he left with Jerome shortly after that," Brandon said.
