"Jealous."

I pause for a few seconds thinking about what she just said before I burst out laughing.

"Pfftt! Tsk tsk Park Hyeji, dramatic as always." I scoff, slowly clapping my hands.

"Pfftt! Tsk tsk Song Mia," she imitates me. "Naive as always." She shakes her head.

I roll my eyes, "whatever, I need to get ready for bed." I grab my hoodie and head towards the door.

"Are you sleeping outside? In the trash- where you belong?" She jokes and I give her my resting bitch face.

"I'm gonna buy some milk carton, I ran out. I'll be back," I slam the door shut and make my way to the convenient store.

I put the hood over my head and bury my hands in my pocket, trying to warm myself from the cool autumn air.

I shudder as I push the door, allowing myself in. I get a small basket and quickly head to whatever I'm here for. I dump a bunch of milk cartons on the basket.

Should I get one more? What if it gets too yucky overtime? But I don't wanna constantly come here to buy more.

A man's figure catches my attention from my peripheral vision, stopping me from my debating thoughts.

I turn slightly towards him and he does the same. I stare at him, trying to figure out who this familiar man is. But his hooded face made it too hard.

He was also staring, as if he was also trying to point me out. But I focus back on my milk, looking away from him.

I snatch one more box before going to the cashier. I pull out my wallet, searching for the reasonable amount of money, when a thumping noise from the outside persistently hits the glass.

"Don't tell me it's-" I pause as I peek outside in horror.

Shit.

I close my eyes, screaming internally.

"Raining." A familiar voice finishes my sentence. I turn towards the voice in shock.

"Jimin?"

"Mia! No wonder you looked somewhat familiar," he seemed happy, maybe because he finally figured out who the familiar person was.

I awkwardly smile, handing my money to the cashier as he packs my milk boxes in a clear plastic bag.

"Gamsahamnida." I bow before getting out of the store, only realising that the rain was getting heavier. I sprint towards the bus stop with my head down that was a few metres away and had shelter and bench.

"WHY! WHY NOW? Why didn't you come 5 minutes later once I'm back? Or 5 minutes earlier so I could've brought an umbrella or something!" I rage to myself, not caring how loud I was knowing that the rain will only drown out my noise.

"Calm down," someone chuckles catching me off guard. I can already tell it's Jimin. I don't turn to him to acknowledge him.

Another embarrassment Mia.

I slap myself internally, giving myself lectures to not be so careless next time.
