Jimin pays for the food with his card without a single look at the price, leaving me gobsmacked.

"Can we have that photo now?" The waitress pops out of nowhere.

Does this girl not have any respect?

"Can you take a photo of us?" She pulls her phone out and holds it toward me.

Okay, I'm not touching that phone.

"Excuse me, can we take our order?" A customer calls out to the only free waitress who isn't focusing on her work.

"Ah, ye." She puts her phone back in her pocket. "Just wait a moment," she smiles at Jimin before scurrying away to the customer.

I give Jimin a cold face and he only chuckles awkwardly, rubbing his nape.

Then, a plan forms in my evil, selfish mind.

I hastily grip Jimin's wrist, dragging him along as I eye the open entrance. I look back, seeing Jimin's shocked expressions and I smirk.

His face turns into a playful smile as we exit the restaurant. I slow down, letting his wrist go, but his hand reaches for mine and this time, drags me to the unknown destination.

My mouth hangs open as I gaze at our linked hands. My heart pummels wildly from my chest, making it hard for me to breathe.

Just like those in dramas, the rest of the world seemed to have frozen. It was just Jimin and I, running in slow motion as he casually looks back with that smile that makes the flower bloom eagerly despite the crispy weather, mistaking it for the sunshine.

It's so infectious. I mirror him carelessly, embracing the freedom, which I know will end soon.

I'm off my own trance once he stopped running, both lightly panting. "This was fun," he chuckles.

"What? Running away from a fan?"

"Being with you." He says with a genuine look in his eyes. I didn't know what to say to make this situation less awkward, I mean- was there even a way?

"Let's go get ice cream," I point at the parked ice cream van, relieved to have managed to think of something.

"I'll pay this time. I can afford this with the little budget I have," I stop him from pulling out his card.

"Y'know, I didn't think you were the jealous type." I cock my head to my side, triggered at his statement.

He only looks back, cheekily smiling as he licks his ice cream. "What the heck do you mean?" I furrow my eyebrows.

"How you didn't want me shared with others." He smirks, "I see that you got the hots for me, grabbing my hand like that." He clicks his tongue with a wink.

I scoff in disbelief as my blood starts to boil. "Excuse me? I didn't think you were the 'assuming' type. Thinking every girls that go your way, immediately falls in love with you."

"Don't they? Don't you?" The disappointing truth behind his words left me with no comeback.

"Stop being so narcissistic," I roll my eyes, speeding ahead.

"What do you want to do now?" He jogs to catch up.

"I don't know," I shrug my shoulders. "I was just planning to visit cafés and take photos of Jeju."

"Great!" He claps his hands like a child, "let's take photos!" He takes out his phone, pulling my shoulders harshly close to him, with my head on his chest.
