So in this season Leah is dealing with abandonment from Klaus and is finding it hard to deal with things.
I wanted to add some college related themes into her life hence why I added in James, a stereotypical jock and Lisa a stereotypical mean girl.
Last year in my country a bill was passed to legalise gay marriage and it made me realise what these people had to go through everyday. Now I'm not comparing Jessica to reality but I wanted to show people a little snippet of what people go through.
At the end of this season Damon turns Leah into a vampire and she experiences a bunch of flashbacks during her transition to immortality.
Also I just wanted to add I know that Damon technically dies in the fifth season so he changed her before that haha!
And this will most likely be the last season
