Kara enters her daughter's room and sits on the bed. She removes a stray of Lori's hair which make her flinch.
"Sorry, bubbles. Interrupting your sleep but you need to take your medicine."
"Why should I? I'm gonna die anyway."
Kara is taken aback. "Your mom is doing her best to find the cure."
"I'm tired, ma. Being sick. And the pity people show me." Lori sighs and takes the pill.
"Sleep well." Kara kisses Lori's forehead.
...
Kara meets Lena in their room.
"Where were you?"
"Give medicine to Lori."
"Our sunshine is dead a year ago, baby." Lena responds.
