Supercorp Oneshots: Love Will Never Lie

Your Hero

Lena is waiting for Kara at her favorite fine dining restaurant called Botanist. Her girlfriend texts her to order first, saying she has to rescue a cat stuck in tree first. So, she ordered  Foie Gras Torchon and Grilled Sturgeon.

It's been thirty one minutes. The dishes are getting cold. How long does Supergirl need to get a cat out of a tree. Lena is worried. She sent Kara a bunch of texts but no replies.

Ring ring

Lena answers the call on the third ring.

"Kara. Where are you? Are you okay? What took you so long?" 

"Hello darling." Lilian's voice greets her.

"Mother. What do you want? How come you have Kara's phone with you?" Lena snarls.

"Straight to the point, I like it. Sadly your sexuality is not."

"Cut the bullshit. Where is Kara? If you harm her, I swear to god, I'll send you to jail and let you rot in there."

"I'd like to see you try. Come to an abandoned Luthor's facility near the harbor. Alone. Don't call the police, you don't want to know the consequences. You'll meet your beautiful uhh horribly injured girlfriend there. Hopefully she's still alive." Lilian laughs and ends the call.

"Fuck." Lena grabs her coat and leaves the restaurant. Not before puts 200 $ bills on the table.

"You come." Lilian smiles at her daughter. "Follow me dear."

Lena observes her surrounding. The place is mostly vacant. They walk through endless hallway before Lilian stops in front of a door.

"Get in."

Lena opens the door. Her eyes adjusting with the dim light. In the middle of the room, Kara in her suit is chained to a chair. Her wrists are tied up with kryptonite handcuffs. Three men are standing behind her.

"Kara." Lena rushes to her side. Examining her bloody face.

"It's a trap, Lee. You shouldn't come." Kara hisses in pain.

"I know."

"Why are you here?" Kara asks in between breath.

"I couldn't live without you." Lena whispers. "Can you fight?"

Kara shakes her head. "The kryptonite is weakening me. Your mother has the remote for these handcuffs. I'm not even sure my power will be back in a short time. Her minions beat me up real good." Kara coughs blood. Lena places a sweet kiss on her cheek. 

"Sweetheart, you're a smart woman. Why do you fall in love with her? Alien is a threat. Pretending to seek an asylum in our planet. Their goal is to invade earth. We have to stop them." Lilian interrupts their moment.

"Are you out of your mind? You are the real threat. Manipulating people to fight aliens just because they are different. Creating conflicts everywhere. Thousands of humans and aliens are died in vain. Human and alien can live together in peace. If you stop brainwash them." Lena says.

"Aliens are cruel, cunning, heartless, lack of empathy." Lilian shouts.

"Mother. Are you crying?" Lena asks. She takes three small steps towards her mother. Lilian stands still. Her face remains stoic.

"It's father, right. When he left you for that alien woman, you were brokenhearted."

"I am broken. Hurt and lonely. I want to talk about my problems but who would want to listen to me?"

"You have me." Lena offers a warm smile. Lilian caught by surprise when her daughter hugs her.

When they break the embrace, Lilian has tears on her eyes. Lena on the other hand, manages to steal the remote and frees Kara's hands.

Kara super-speed to Lena and drags her out of the room.

"Put the building on lock down. Catch them." Lilian speaks through her earphone.

Lilian's men are guarding every doors. Kara and Lena has stopped running, panting. They are cornered. More then five men are ready to shoot their guns.

"Fire."

Kara use her body as a shield to protect Lena. Her power is not back one hundred percent. Blood is oozing from her body but she survives the shooting.

"Arggh." Lena, losing her mind when her partner is hurt, charging into battle. She throws punches and karate kicks those men.

Lena comes to face her mother, knife in her hand but her mother already pointing a gun at her.

"You are blinded, mother. I know you're hurt but it doesn't give you the reason to harm others based on your life experience. Father abandons us. His alien mistress from Krypton is a bitch. But we can see those traits both in human and alien. Some are goods, others not. The species is not the problem. Their personality is. Please don't ruin what Kara and I have." Lena begs.

Bang Bang Bang

The gun is dropped to the floor. Lilian presses her hands against the stab wound on her abdomen. Her vision blurring and the room spinning. She gasps for air and grunting before darkness consume her.

"Lena." Kara is sobbing into her lover's shoulder. Lena is unconscious. "Please Lena bean. Stay with me."

Lena whimpers. "Holy hell. It hurts like hell." She pants and unbuttons her coat, reveals a vest underneath with three bullets holes.

"You are crazy. I thought I lost you." Kara hugs Lena.

"Ouch. Not too hard. It's going to take more than that to kill a Luthor."

Boum

"Kara, Lena. Are you okay?" Alex comes in with her Deo team. "I'm so sorry we're late. Scott, our new tech guy is not as good as Winn."

"It's okay, big sis. We survive."

"Agent Danvers, could your team tend to my mother's wounds first before throwing her to jail?" Lena asks.

"Don't worry. She's in good hand." 

Lilian is taken away using stretchers. Her men get handcuffed and arrested for abducting innocent people.

At Luthor Hospital

Kara sits beside Lena's hospital bed. She looks into Lena's eyes. "Why did you come? "

"To rescue you." 

"You could've died."

"If I didn't come, you would've died." Kara smiles. 

"Supergirl, you are everybody's hero. Let me be your hero, Kara Danvers." 

Kara's heart is deeply touched. They both lean in and captures each other's lips.
