Puppy Kara Part 1

Danver's house

"It's late." Alex yawns. "I'm gonna finish this formula tomorrow." She saves all the documents before shutting down her laptop.

"Where should I put this pizza away from Kara's eyes?" Alex paces around the living room, and decides to hide it in the kitchen.

"I'm homeee." Kara greets to no one in particular. She knows her mother and sister are going out. She plops down on the couch and turns on the tv. Star Wars V: Empire Strikes Back is running in ten minutes,

"Let's make popcorn. Then it's netflix and chill time."

When she enters the kitchen, her nose smells something nice. Pizza.

Kara uses her x-ray vision and finds the food beneath the microwave.

"Oh Alex, you can't hide anything. I have x-ray vision." Kara chuckles. "Forget about popcorn. I have something better." Kara opens the box and see Pepperoni Pizza. "My favorite. Thank you, sis." Kara takes a bite and moans in delight.

*The next day*

woof Woof Woof grrr Woof

Alex covers her ears from the loud nouse. Since when does her neighbour has a dog, Alex wonders. Why does it sounds so near. Please stop barking, I need my beauty sleep.

Grr Woof Wooof

"Argh, it's too early and it's too loud." Alex reluctantly gets up from her bed, strectching up.

As soon as she opens the door, a golden retriever attacks her in a friendly way. Alex stumbles backward.

"Whoa, where did you come from?"

WOOf Grrr WooF

"Umm I'm not a dog whisperer."

The dog licks her face and wiggling its tail. It has blue eyes and a little scar on her forehead.

"No freaking way." The realization hits her. "My experiment has succeed. Kara is that you?"

Woof Woof

"Did you eat the pizza in the kitchen?"

Woof

It shakes its head.

"Don't lie to me sis." Alex raises her eyebrows.

Woof woof

Alex screams and tackles puppy Kara to the ground. "OMG. I did it. I turned you into a puppy. The formula works. Do you know how happy I am? Happier than my first kiss with Maggie but don't tell her."

GRRR wooof Grr

"Wait here. I have something for you." Alex goes to her bedside drawer and pulls out a supersuit(for dog). "You will look cute in it." Alex flashes Kara the supersuit but puppy Kara runs away.

After some yelling and chasing. Alex manages to put the supersuit on.

"Let's take a selfie." Alex grins from ear to ear while Kara looks down in embarrassment.

"Won't you look at these pics. So purrfect." Puppy Kara groans.

*The afternoon*

Alex runs a check-up on puppy Kara. Turns out, she lost her superpower.

"Looks like you're gonna be a normal puppy." Alex boops Kara's nose.

Puppy Kara wiggles her tail.

Ring ring ring

"Hello baby, how are you? Me good. I haven't. Where? Okay, be there in twenty. Love you. Bye." Alex ends the call.

"I'll have a lunch date with Maggie. You stay here. Don't go anywhere. You will turn back to your human form in twelve hours, more or less. Give me five." Alex extends her palm and puppy Kara puts her paw too.

"Good girl."
