Nandini's POV
I woke up due to the sun's rays. I checked my phone to see 3 missed calls from an unknown no. And well the time .. it was 8 am... oh no!!!! 8 baj Gaye. Uff Mujhe toh Amma ko ek ghante pehle hi help karna tha.. I got up and took a short shower, got dressed, and headed downstairs. Sab kuch decorated tha.. I went to the garden and I see this beautiful wall of roses. So beautiful Woah! This is perfect! "Kaisa laga? Engagement yaha garden mein hogi" I hear a very husky voice .. hmm Manik! I turned around to find him "Happy Birthday Manik" I said giving him a hug "ye lo" and I put forward the gift I got for him "iski kya zarurat thi Nandini...aur yeh kharida kab tumne?" He opened it to find a watch and a note with it saying "I hope achha time humesha tumhare saath rahe.." "Voh parso hi kharida tha , actually jab tum Ghar aaye aur hum mile tab Dena tha lekin phir pata Chala tumhara birthday hai to iss liye aaj Diya .... I hope u liked it!" "It's .... Bohot achhi hai yeh watch .... Thank you Nandini" he hugged me once again. I don't know but it's really comforting. "Acha suno , mere dost that is my family .. Fab 5 aye hai Chalo na unse milvaata hu" and we went towards fab 5 Manik - guys! Yeh nandini hai aur nandini yeh sab bandar hai. Mukti - Manik. 😑 Tu hoga bandar main toh hot hu hot!. Dhruv - hi Nandini Alya - arey betho na tum dono Cabir - Manik , aa Beth mere baaju mein. Bandar saala. We sat and Manik said again Manik - acha nandini voh hai mukti , alya dhruv aur yeh hai Cabir. Dhruv aur alya ki shaadi ho gai hai. Mukti ....still searching. Cabir is Dating! Madhubala ko! And everybody laughed at it. Nandini - tum sab ek dusre ko bachpan se jaante ho? Alya - nai .. baby aur Manik I mean dhruv aur Manik bachpan see jaante hai but main Cabir mukti in dono ko college mein mile Nandini - oh achha Mukti - vaise nandini tumhare koi friends nai aye? Oh shit!!!! Navya ka toh main bhul hi gai thiiii! Nandini - ab ek abhi London Chala gaya I'll call the other one .. please excuse me for a minute I got up and went to the side .. I dialed navya's no. And called her, and she answered my call on the third ring
Navya - Nanduuuu , kaha ho tum?
Me - arey navya shhh. Ab Meri baat suno. Meri Shaadi pakki ho gayi aur --
Navya - Shaadi!!!????? Kab? Kisse? Kyu? Arey bolo
Me - ab tum bolne dogi tab bolungi naa
Navya - ha sorry bolo ab
Me - tum yaha ajao , main tumhe location bhejti hu aur suno aaj Meri engagement hai ho us Tara aajaana okay? Sorry main tum aao uske baad sab samjaati hu
Navya - aaj? Engagement? Jaldi location bhejo. Hum na 6 baje Tak ayenge voh yaha bohot kaam hai
Me - okay bye I disconnected the call and I was thinking about the engagement .. this made me think of appa. I need to go up I texted Manik saying "say sorry to all of them, I'm not feeling well toh main upar jaa rahi hu... Umm sorry shaamko engagement mein milte hai okay?" I headed straight to my room and I sat on the bed facing my back to the door. Appa aap Kyu Gaye Mujhe chhodkar? Aaj Meri engagement hai .. Manik k saath By now tears started rolling down my cheeks Appa Manik bohot achha insaan hai aur apne use mere liye chuna Matlab to voh Mujhe bohot khush rakhega bohot pyaar karega ... I miss you appa Main jab papa ko dekhti hu Mujhe aapki bohot yaad aati hai. Us din agar maine zid na ki hoti toh.... "Tum theek toh ho? Kya hua? Please don't cry" I heard someone say right next to me... I faced that side to find Manik and immediately turned the other way and cleaned my face "woh I'm not crying bas shayad kuch kachra Chala gaya" "Nandini you know u can share with me ... You can talk to me about anything. I am here for you" "I was missing appa... Aaj engagement hai par voh yaha nahi hai. Sab Meri galti thi. Agar maine zid nahi ki rehti toh aaj voh yaha hote Manik." I just broke down. "Nandini it's not your fault. Kisi ki bhi galti nahi hai. Woh abhi bhi humare saath hai. Kahi nahi gaye.. aur I promise you I won't let anything happen to u ... I'll protect u." He hugged me and we sat like that for a few minutes "Manik tum jao fab 5 akele honge .. I'll stay here" "Vaise Maine suna hai ke kisi ko chocolate bohot pasand hai" he said revealing a large chocolate bar yum! My eyes lit up "mujhe!!! Do na Manik please" "Ye lo" and he handed me the chocolate and I, like a small kid started eating it I did offer it to him but usne liya hi nai then I put it in his mouth tab jaake khaya usne. It was 1:30 Matlab lunch bhi ho gaya .. I guess I am not hungry "Nandini thodi der so jao , shaamko engagement hai ha lekin abhi kuch kha lo... Tumne nashta Kiya tha??"
"Ha Manik voh subah room mein hi kha liya tha don't worry I think I need sleep and thank you :)"
And with that, he left and I drifted off to sleep thinking of how fast all this happened, and yet it is just beautiful. . . . I woke up feeling pain in my body and someone kicked me again .. I opened my eyes to find "Navyaaaa bas!!!!" I woke up and hugged her. "Kab ayi?" "Bas abhi aur tum. Manik Malhotra see Shaadi kar rahi ho!!!!! Manik see!!! Cabir ne Mujhe kaha toh tha ki Manik ki bhi aaj engagement hai but tumse hai voh nahi pata tha.." "Ek min Cabir aur tum .. kaise jaante ho?"
"Nandini Cabir Mera boyfriend hai."
"Oh haaaaaa , ab yaad Aya , vahi main sochu yeh naam suna hai kahi pe!"
"Acha Nandu engagement 7 baje hai aur tum abhi Tak soyi ho. Utho jaldi"
Kitne baje hai? I looked at the clock on the bedside table

Shit!!!!! I woke up with a jolt and rushed into the washroom. I washed my face, changed, and sat in front of the mirror to do my makeup ...

Voh karne k baad I went out but Navya thi hi nai ... I waited for the time to be 7 and at exact 7 Amma came to my room
