Nandini's POV
He dropped me home after all the shopping. Shaadi k liye I got this beautiful pink lehenga.
It was 10:46 when Manik texted "I've reached. Bas I miss you already. Nandini can I come there?"
Manik abbhi Kyu Ana chahta hai!!!.
"Thike aa jao but then promise me you will spend the night here"
"Promise you jaan".
Jaan!
At 11 I heard a soft knock on my door, I opened it to find no one ... I was about to close it when somebody pushed the door open and hit me hard on the head with something. My vision became blurry and I hit the darkness.
Manik's POV
Peechle 20 min se nandini apna phone answer nahi Kar rahi thi. Kaha hai ye? So gai? Lekin usse pata tha main aa raha hu.
I waited for the next five minutes and then I couldn't take it anymore so I rang the doorbell. In a few seconds it opened to reveal maa with a questioning look on her face she asked me
"Manik!? Tum raat ke 11:30 baje yaha kaise? Kya hua?"
"Voh maa , nandini ko Milne Aya tha
.... Voh .... Ummm ... Ha! Uske liye jhumke liye the voh Dena bhul gaya toh abhi Dene aa gaya."
"Jhumke? Acha andar toh aao"
Maa - betho tum , main use bula Kar laati hu
Manik - umm maa. Sorry voh Maine aapki neend kharab ki. Kya main jau please uske paas??
Maa - koi baat nai , tum jao voh jaag hi rahi hogi , main so jaati hu fir. Goodnight bachhe.
I headed towards her room. I knocked a few times but I got no response so I opened the door and well it opened quickly .... Khula Kyu chhoda hai?
"Nandini??"
"Kaha ho tum?"
I checked everywhere for her but she was nowhere. God! Kaha gai?
"Maaaaa...... Maa nandini kaha hai?"
"Apne kamre mein nahi hai?" Maa was very tense by now. Hell! I am tensed af too. Itni raat ko kaha chali gai?!?!?!
I tried calling her lekin switch off hai, I don't know what to do.
After a few minutes, my phone beeped indicating a text. Hoping it would be from Nandini I unlocked my phone. But to my dismay, it was from an unknown number. It said
[11:47 pm] Unknown :
Tum jus cheez ko dhoondh rahe ho voh mere paas hai. Nandini zinda chahiye? Toh main jaise kahu vaisa hi Karo. Aur ha agar police involve hui toh Tata bye-bye Nandini.
In a few more seconds I received another text
[11:48 pm] Unknown :
Mere agle msg ka wait karna
"Maa nan--nan--nandini .... Sab Meri galti hai ... Mere vajase voh kidnap ho gai." Saying this I fell on my knees. My whole world had collapsed. I have to find her. I have to get her back. And I will do it at any cost. Her safety is all I want. God! Aise kaise koi le gaya. Tears were strolling down my cheeks. Abhi time hai strong banne ka Manik. Uth. Aur dhoondh usse. Ha ... I got up
"Manik. Manik Nandu ko dhoondho please. Uske Siva Mera koi nai hai" seeing her so weak is making me so guilty. Sab Meri galti hai. I need to get her back.
Somehow!
"Maa don't worry. Main leke aaunga usse I promise"
"Maa aap please sab theekse lock Kar ke Mera intezaar karna. I will get her back. Kuch nahi toh main usse safely haya pohocha dunga" after saying this I unlocked my phone and text on the fab 5 group
Manik - Guys. I need your help. Nandini has been kidnapped.
Within a few seconds, all of them replied
Cabir - what? Where are u? Hum log aate hai.
Aliya - wtf!? Shit. I'm sorry Manik , voh dhruv and I had an emergency here at his mom's place to hum hya Goa just pohoche. But we will try our best to be there soon.
Dhruv - sorry buddy :(
Mukti - Manik. Kuch bol. Kaha hai tu? Main aur Cabir jald se jald vaha pohochte hai.
Manik - guys, I'm at Nandini's place but soon I'm leaving to get her toh I'll send u the location and call the police with u
Cabir - don't worry Manik, voh theek hi hogi
With this, I received a text from the kidnapper "Wear a Shaadi ka sherwaani and come. *Attached location*"
Ugh. "Shaadi ki sherwaani kahase Lau?". Ha! I have a Sherwani bas that'll do.
"Maa main jaa raha hu .... Lekar aaunga usse I promise. Don't worry and don't cry ... I hate tears on you" with that I left ... In about 25 minutes I reached the location ... Koi puraani khandar lag rahi hai. I took steps towards the entrance quite slowly. Andar pohochne mein hi 10 min lage. There I saw 2 people guarding a door. As they saw me. They opened the door where direct straight I could see Nandini behind some bars all tied up, unconscious.
"Aha so I see the lover boy is here." This voice is so familiar.
"Vaise Manik. I didn't hurt her ... Much. But well I see u followed the instructions" what the bloody hell! Soha!?.
"Soha? Tum? What the fuck."
"Fuck toh baad ki baat hai Manik. I know you don't love her. I know you've always liked me. Aur Maine iss nandini ko humare beech se hata Diya hai. Toh ab Shaadi kar lete hai."
M- tum pagal ho Kya? I've told you hundred se bhi zyada times that I don't like you. You are just a friend. Bas!
S - Manik. I know abhi ye hai isliye tum aisa bol rahe ho. But acha let's do this. Pehle I had planned to let her go and then humari Shaadi hogi lekin ab. Ab toh usse main humari Shaadi ke baad hi chhodungi.
M - Shaadi? Tumse? Kabhi bhi nahi. Tum bas nandini ko jaane do.
S - nahi karo ge Shaadi? Theek hai. Say bye to Nandini Murthy.
Saying this she headed towards Nandini. She pointed a gun at her head "I'm counting till 3 Manik. Say yes and I'll spare her life. Say no and boom. She'll be dead."
"1".....
......
"2" ........... "Sochlo Manik."
"And ----"
