I woke up suddenly, jumping off my bed landing on my face. "Ouch," I thought to myself. As I propped myself up, I looked around my room and noticed that my door was open, I squinted my eyes making sure it was open. My bedroom door is almost always closed meaning either I forgot to close it last night or someone else in here with me.
I brushed it off me and walked over to my bathroom to do my daily morning stuff. Once I was clothed, I noticed the door was suddenly closed again, how strange. I peaked around the corner checking for any monsters before charging out my room with a hanger in my left-hand ready for battle.
"Okay Haven, what's with the hanger? are you going to search for a missing shirt of yours?" Daniel chuckled. I rolled my eyes and threw the hangar back into my room and walked downstairs with Daniel closely following behind.
As I opened my fridge, I noticed there was not much food left; then it hit me once again, mom isn't the one buying groceries anymore... I sighed keeping the tears back before lightly closing the fridge door. Daniel looked confused for a second before only nodding in response. I ran over to him hugging him as tight as possible.
"She's gone for real Dani, Why me?" My tears were bleeding through his shirt only making him squeeze me tighter; His head rested on top of mine as he kissed me. Daniel and I stood there for what felt like an hour before my computer started dinging. We separated, and I checked my email.
Dear Haven Conley,
We are here to inform you because of your mothers passing, we regret to inform you the government of California now has been ordered to remove you from your current living quarters and placed into a foster home. The family has already been chosen, they will be picking you up in three days from when this email is sent out.
Thank you for your time.
I shut my laptop almost immediately and starred at Daniel completely heartbroken.

Well, merely two chapters remain! Got some suspense running through this chapter, praying it was good. Anyway, my friend went to one of the concerts recently and sent me some fantastic photos!! I'm jealous but so happy for her at the same time!! Enjoy some why don't we photos then.
