"is everything okay Haven?" Daniel asked concerned, he slowly walked towards me. I froze in place, it was only a year of fostering, not even but I can't believe I won't be able to see the boys anymore, more importantly, Daniel. He sat down and without hesitation, I began to tell him everything. The sparkle in his eye was now gone, and I could visibly see he was utterly crushed. His eyes wandered the room but never made it back to me.
I grabbed his hand trying to get him to look at me, at this point I was bawling my eyes out. "Daniel, please just look at me," I repeated in which he didn't listen. He stood up only looking at the floor and went to the front entrance, slipped on his checkered vans and placed his hand on the door. I ran after him trying to get him to stay, but he pushed me away.
"I'll just make this easier for you and let you be alone before you leave. Goodbye Haven." is all Daniel said before closing the door behind him. I fell to my knees crying, Why god?
-OoO-
A few hours passed, and I was laying in my bed completely silent only watching Daniels window. Not in a creepy way or anything, I was just sat remembering the first time I saw him.
"Uh. Hello there." the mysterious blue-eyed boy said. He was towering over me, but even though we weren't eyeing to an eye, he still looked stunning. His scruffy brown hair.
"h-Hi." I studdered, oh god I'm studdering again what do I do? Am I embarrassing myself in front of this beautiful boy? Well its too late now, I've been staring at him for more than five seconds. I'm doomed.
"Well I'm Daniel, and you are?" he said making my knees weak.
I smiled at the memory, suddenly the light across from mine flicked on bringing my attention right to the room. It wasn't Daniel but Jonah who came into the room. He walked over to Daniel's window and tapped on it catching even more of my attention.
I walked over to my window and opened it, Jonah did the same and started talking.
"Did something happen with you and Daniel? he hasn't moved from the couch since he got back from your place," I sighed and tried explaining the whole story without breaking down into tears. "I'm coming over," is all Jonah said before disappearing out of the room.
A few minutes later there was a knock at the door; I took my time to walk over but the second I did so I was bombarded with hugs. It took me a second to realize it wasn't just Jonah who came over but everyone else too! I was finally smiling again, and once we all separated, I couldn't feel any better, but at the same time, a rush of guilt swarmed my thoughts.
"I'm so sorry guys; it's all my fault and now-"
"Haven, absolutely nothing here is your fault ok. Sure you're going to be gone for a while, but I know we will meet each other soon after. Daniel will regret not saying goodbye, and everything will be ok," Jack stated causing me to smile through the tears that were pouring down my cheeks. They all came in for one last massive hug and went back home.
The next day I spent the whole afternoon packing almost everything up, I had gotten another email from the government saying this house was mine after I turned eighteen meaning I could keep some of my things here. I sighed as I looked around my now almost empty room. Flopping back on to my bed I fell right to sleep not very excited for the next day to come.
