Chapter 12

(Scarlett's PoV)

"It would seem that releasing the Matrix into Unicron's very spark would send him back into stasis," Optimus said. Then the remains of the broken Unicron began to rebuild.

"We got another one!" I exclaimed.

"Rtchet,open a ground bridge," Optimus said.

"Wait we'e opening a bridge to our base with Megatron right there?!" Arcee snapped.

"And he's ging to risk his spark for ours?" Bulk asked skeptically. Megatron just let out a laugh.

"Hardly my nature! Consider my offer, I'll keep it busy," Megatron said as he transformed and headed to deal with the Unicron copy. A small part of me wanted to help him, VERY small part, but helping Decepticons isn't something I'd like to do.

"I know these are desperate times, but bringing MEgatron here?!" Ratchet exclaimed once we got back to the base.

"How could you even consider letting that monster be near these children after what he did to Raff?!" Nurse Darby exclaimed. Hey, I know Megatron's evil but he doesn't have to be called a monster. Ugh, I need to stop thinking like this the old Megatron wasn't a monster, this one is! Why can't I get that through my head?!

"He will be closely monitored, and only allowed to linger until we set off on our journey. Not one mment more," Optimus assured.

"What's going to stop him from calling some of his 'cons?" Fouler asked.

"Sense we're ground bridging him here he will no be able to get a fix on the bases coordinates," Optimus explained.

"Optimus, what's going to happen to you once you get rid of the Matrix?" Jack asked.

"The power of the Matrix has not yet been used in this manner," Optimus said.

"But you have an idea don't you?" JAck asked.

"Autobots, if human life is to survive, I have no choice but to proccede. But you do," Optimus said.

"I don't know about human kind, but I'm willing to do it. For Miko," Bulk said.

"For Jack," Arcee said.

"For Raff," Bee buzzed.

"For everyone," I said.

(Megatron's PoV)

"Megatron, we are sending transport," Optimus said through the comm link.

"You can always be relied upon to listen to reason," I told him as I delivered one final blow to Unicron's maneifestations. I headed through the ground bridge into the Autobot's base. I walked in and unsurprisingly most of the Autobots had their weapons ready. "So this is where the magic happens, quaint," I told them. Then I saw some humans run out.

"YOU!" one said but was held back by another.

"Ah, you're looking much better than the last time we met little one. Humans, resiliant," I said to him.

"Come on Raff, he isn't worth it," I heard another one of the humans say. This one's voice I recognized and I recognized his appearance as well.

"And you, I never forget a face, even that of a human," I told him. He merely turned to glare at me and continued to walk away with the others.

"You double crosse anyone, and mine will be the face you'll never forget!! NEVER!!" the last one yelled as it was dragged back. It was pathetic how these humans thought they could actually do something to me.
