Chapter 23

(Scarlett's PoV)

Everyone was back and Optimus told Smoke Screen that he was wise for choosing strategy. But Bulk didn't care, he just left the room. I really thought my little speech would knock some sense into him. I hope he gets over this soon Smoke Screen was talking about how 'amazing' his strategy was when Optimus walked over to me.

"Scarlett, are you planning on telling Smoke Screen?" Optimus asked.

"Already did, and turns out he already knew," I told him.

"I suppose Alpha Trion told Smoke Screen not only of me but of you as well," Optimus said as he looked over at Smoke Screen. Smoke Screen tried to make Bulk feel better by suggesting using the Apex Armor but that idea got shot down fast.

"Hey Scarlett, forgot to tell you. Nice work on Star Scream's optic. It's a big improvement to the original," Smoke Screen laughed.

"To bad I couldn't modify the other one too," I joked.

(Knock Out's PoV)

While on the ship, out of nowhere, Break Down's life signal came back online.

"Strange, Lord Megatron, it appears that Break Down's signal has popped up online. Although corrupted," I told him.

"Investigate with caution, it may well be an Autobot trick," Megatron said.

"I certainly hope not. Break Down May come off as a brute but he's a maestro behind a buffer," I told him. Besides sense when have Autobots been able to bring back the dead, unless they got their hands on dark energon which is something they'd never do. We bridged to where Break Down was and when we got there everything was destroyed. "Break Down where have you-," I began but stopped as I saw him walk out. "Break Down. . .what happened to you?" I asked skeptically.

"There lies a tale, which won't be nearly as interesting to Megatron as this," Break Down. . .or whatever this thing was said as he held up a container. We headed back to the ship.

"Knock Out, what is this abomination and why have you brought it here?" Megatron asked.

"This is the human who dissected Break Down! Please, my liege, allow me to return the favor," I snarled.

(Scarlett's PoV)

So. . .apparently Break Down was back and Silas was working with him? What? Then Agent Fowler explained what Silas would do with that satellite. We were headed to get the code so the 'cons couldn't control the satellite and I was allowed to go this time. As soon as we bridged there, gun fire began almost immediately. Although Smoke Screen was a pretty good fighter, so there are some things about him that aren't annoying.

(Knock Out's PoV)

While Sound Wave was off to get that code for this weapon the Autobots showed up. . .including Flash. Megatron noticed this on the screen and I couldn't believe how surprised he was. I had never seen him that surprised before.

(Scarlett's PoV)

Out of nowhere a blast from the sky was shot down. This must be the weapon the 'cons got, how nice.

"Autobots, we must draw it's fire to distract from Raffiel's efforts!" Optimus said as a blast shot directly in front of us.

"Somehow I don't think that'll be a problem," Arcee said.

"Yep, this might be a little too easy," I said as we all transformed to out-drive the blast. I used my four wheel mode, allowing me to go faster.

"You're pretty fast," Smoke Screen as we both did a quick U-turn to avoid the blast.
