I cough. This whole room smells like Hairspray.

"Don't you have enough hairspray?" I ask Tina (who is here for the week to make our costumes) as she puts on my skirt fir my costume on straight.

"There's never enough hairspray. This school musical is called 'Hairspray' after all," she said and I slowly nod. "Alright. What do you think?" I look in the mirror.

I am wearing a white blouse with a blue and green checkered skirt, and cream shoes. I also have my hair like Tracy.

"This is perfect. I look just like her," I said and I hug Tina. "Thanks Tina."

"It's alright. Besides, I still need to make a lot more costumes," she said and I smile.

"Tina, you are the best. I'm definitely sure that you are going to get all of these costumes done in time," I said with a smile.

"Aww, thanks Emily. How sweet of..." Before Tina could finish her sentence, Ryder picks me up bridal style and he spins me around. I giggle and kick my feet as he does this.

He then finally puts me down on the ground and I put my arms around his neck.

"Was that even neccessary?" I ask with a big grin.

"It is with you," he said and I kiss him.

"Stop it! Leave the kissing scene for the musical!" I hear someone yell and I laugh.

I walk down the hallway and I find Bree outside my locker. I roll my eyes and I walk over to her. She smiles.

"Are you enjoying having the lead role in the school musical?" She asks me.

"I guess," I said as I enter my locker combination.

"Well, you won't for long," she said and she walks away with a smile on her face. I open my locker and a cold liquid hits my head.

I am now covered in a red, sticky liquid. I look up and I see an empty bucket above my locker. I then look to the side and I see Bree laughing and getting more people to look.

There is a lot of people around me. They are laughing. I feel tears run down my cheeks.

I then start to run. I run and run until I get to the girls bathroom. I look in the mirror. My makeup is smudged and my cheerios uniform is drenched.

"Are you okay?" I hear a girl say and she gasps. I turn around and I see Quinn. I wipe my tears away.

"What? Are you happy that I get a little revenge?" I said and I look in the mirror. "I bet you would've loved to be there laughing at me like all the others."

"No, of course not," she said and she grabs some tissues. "I may hate you, but I don't hate you that much."

Then, Santana enters the bathroom.

"Oh wow. Let me help you Emily," she said. Quinn and Santana then start helping me to get the slushee off of me.

We all walk out of the girls bathroom. I hug them.

"Thank you so much. You are awesome, even you Quinn," I said and she smiles.

"I gotta say, you're pretty awesome too," she said. "I gotta go see Sue. Bye." She then walks off down the hallway.

"Well, I better get to my Art class. I'll see you later," I said and I hug Santana.

"You won't actually. I'm going to New York to see Porceline and Barbara Streisand. Apparently, they miss having me there," she said and I smile.

"Of course they do Santana. You are amazing," I said and she smiles.

"Okay. Bye," she said and I wave as she leaves the school. I sigh and I walk to Art.

I sit there and draw. I draw a picture about the school musical. There is Ryder and I as Link and Tracy, Jake and Haylee as Seaweed and Penny, and all the other characters.

"What are you drawing there Emily?" The Art teacher asks with a smile.

"It's just a drawing based about the school musical this year called 'Hairspray'," I said.

"Hairspray? I love that movie! I'll come and watch your school musical," the teacher said and the bell rings.

"That would be great!" I said as I pack up all of my art gear. "Thanks."

I then leave the room and I find Ryder outside my locker. I smile at him.

"Why do I always find you here?" I ask and I kiss his cheek.

We hold hands and we walk down the hallway.

"Well, you are my special girl," he said and I smile.

"I'm not that special," I said and he stops.

"You are special to me. Don't forget that," he said and I smile.

"I won't," I said with a smile. "Which reminds me. This weekend, it is a 1 year anniversary since my mum died. I was wondering if you could take me to Los Angeles. You know, where we threw her ashes?" He smiles and he kisses my forehead.

"Of course. You realise that your brothers will have to come," he said and I laugh.

"Yep," I said with a nod.
