Chapter 41: One Year Anniversary

I sit in the backseat with Ryder as Puck drives Jake, Ryder, and I to Los Angeles.

We finally get there and he stops.

"What's wrong Puck?" I ask.

"He can't drive any further. We have to walk. Come on," he said and we all hop out of the car. Jake hugs me and I smile.

"I'm okay, really," I said and Jake smiles.

We all walk up the hill and we stop at the top. I enhale and exhale. I feel someone's arm around me. It is Ryder. I place my head on his shoulder.

"Hey, can I get a little alone time?" They all nod. They all walk off and I look over the town. "I love you mum," I whisper and a single tear rolls down my cheek.
