Me and Erika walked into the gates and we felt everyone's eye on us. I looked at her and we both took a deep breath. We walked to the reception

''Hello, can i help you'' the woman said, Erika pushed me forward to speak

''um, we're new here, where's the principl's office?'' i asked fumbling with my fingers

''new girls? names?'' the woman asked

''Madeleine and Erika Baker'' I said

''oh of course, just down the hall, 3rd door on the left, Mr Kemp is just seeing someone right now, just wait outside and he'll be with you both shortly, oh and i'm Miss Watson, new student co-ordinator'' sh said. me and my sister smiled

''Thankyou' i said dragging Erika out. we went to the principal's office and sat in some chairs outside. 5 minutes later the door opened and a tall blonde boy walked out

''thanks sir'' the boy said, my eyes widened, and my sister was rendered speechless

''C-C-Charlie L-L-Lenehan'' Erika stuttered, the boy chuckled

''yeah, hi.'' he said ''I don't think i've seen you two here before? are you new?'' Charlie asked. Erika managed a nod. i just sat there staring at him ''what are your names?'' he asked

''Erika.. Eri for short'' Erika said

''And? you are?'' Charlie said moving his eyes to me.

''Maddie, her names Maddie'' Erika said, grabbing hold of the fact i found it hard to speak

''aw, that's nice, is it short for anything?'' he asked, i nodded slightly, i looked at Erika who's face was turning red with anger.

''Madeleine. it's short for Madeleine'' i managed to say

''nice name'' he said ''but i need to get to form. i'll see you two later'' he said. i smiled at him and Erika waved slightly, then he left

''oh.....my.......god.....he's perfect'' me and Erika said in unison ''WHAT!! NO!! I CALLED DIBS'' we said in unison again

''well i call dibs now'' I said

''you don't even like Bars and Melody'' Erika said

''maybe i do. besides he said my name was cute. not yours'' I said

''CORRECTION he said your name was nice, not cute'' she said

''Sams thing'' i replied

''not really'' she said sternly.

''MADELEINE!! ERIKA! come on in'' Mr Kemp said from his office,

The meeting with Mr Kemp didn't last long, we got our timetables and Mr Kemp started again

''Okay, Erika, you're copying Darcy Smith's timetable, Madeleine, you're copying Charlie Lenehan's timetable'' he said, i smirked at Erika and her face filled with anger again.

'but sir, we just met Charlie outside, Maddie and him don't get on, could we swap timetables?'' Erika said, my jaw dropped and my head slowly turned towards her,

''well, i suppose if Madeleine and Mr Lenehan don't get on, it's the only way'' Mr Kemp said

''no but si-'' i started

''so it's settled then'' he finished, Erika grabbed my timetable from my grasp and passed hers to me and we both left the office

''have fun Madds, I will'' she smirked skipping off. I glared at her and started walking.. just to bump into someone who Erika wishes she'd bumped into...
