Chapter 10

I met Erika in the park opposite school at the end of the day

"Are you okay?" I asked her. She shrugged her shoulders

"I just hate her. I love it here I just don't like her" she continued looking down looking at her phone. We sat there for about 10 minutes in silence. Then I saw Erika look up

"Um. Madds. You might want to see this" she said. I looked up and looked in the direction she was staring in.

"C-C-Charlie" I stuttered feeling tears emerge in my eyes

"Maddie?" Erika said. I kept looking at Charlie who was stood by the slide with Annabeth. She had her hands around his neck and he was laughing at her.

"YOU SPINELESS CHEATING PRICK" I shouted storming over to them. Charlie's eyes widened when he saw me

"M-M-Maddie" he started

"YOU'RE CHEATING ON ME!! WITH.. THAT" I shouted losing my control to not cry anymore

"No. Maddie let me explain" he said as I started to storm away

"NO" I shouted. My lip trembling. I stormed off to Erika. Gave her a brief hug then walked off. When we got back to my house I ran up to my room and fell on my bed crying. I looked at myself in the mirror and I glared at myself. My makeup all the way down my face.

"Madds?" My sister said entering the room. I looked in her hands and she had two pillows that mum had bought her when she broke up with Jordan. One had a crying face on it. And the other had a angry face on it. She sat next to me on my bed and hugged me. I grabbed the crying pillow an hugged it

"ANNABETH O'SULLIVAN" I shouted punching the anger pillow. I grabbed my phone and stared at Charlie's new Facebook update.

'Always screw things up. Well done Charlie 😭'

"I can't believe he did it" I said crying even more. so that's what he was hiding...
