Chapter 26

-----------------Maddie's POV----------------

I woke up 2 days later In my own bed. My mum by my side. "Mum?" I asked not knowing how I ended up here "what happened?" I asked again

"The night before you came home you fell out of bed whilst sleeping. Causing pain in your arm and you had a seizure because of the shock. The doctors gave you an anaesthetic and you've been whacked out for 2 days straight. Eventually they brought you home" she said

"And Charie?" I asked. He was the only thing on my mind.

"He hasn't stopped calling. He wanted us to tell you to call him when you woke up if you were well enough. Do you want me to get you your phone?" She replied. I nodded at her and she walked downstairs.

2 minutes later she came back up with my phone. I looked on my phone to see Charlie's name all over it. Calls. Texts. Everything. I rang him eventually

Charlie- hey there you invalid

Me- oh shut up you bellend I'm awake now you twat

Charlie- so can I come see you?

Me- if you really must

Charlie- I must

Me- okay. Come round now. By the time you get here I should have spoken to Eri

Charlie- don't you wanna see your dad?

Me- no. He's not given 2 flying fucks. Just get here soon Charl. I miss you

Eventually we hung up and Erika walked into my room

"Oh good you're awake" she said. I smiled and nodded at her

"It looks like I'm awake" I said smirking

"Oh wow look at you. Top joker there" she said. I smiled at her and smirked again

"Just hug me" I said opening my arms for her to hug.

20 minutes later I heard the door go

"Charlie" Erika said. I nodded at her and she left the room

------------------Charlie's POV--------------------

I walked upstairs and stood in the doorway of Maddie's room watching her on her phone

"So I see the broken arm hasn't affected your texting ability" I said. She looked up at me and smiled

"I'm texting Leondre. He's asking if I'm okay" she said. I stayed in the doorway watching her "are you going to stand in the doorway like a wet lemon or are you going to come over here and kiss me" she smirked putting her phone down.

"I like the second idea" I said

"So do I. Now come over here and do it" she demanded. I walked over to her and sat on her bed. Her eyes fixed onto me.

"Be my girl I'll be your saviour, you're my queen you where the crown, I don't wanna be player, don't wanna be a burden now, I wanna thankyou, I wanna Thankyou, I wanna Thankyou. For being you" I sang softly

"Stop singing Harvey you bender" she said crashing her lips onto mine. Her arms being wrapped around my neck. I could tell she was trying to be careful of her arm. And I couldn't wait till her arm was back to normal so we could be like we were before.

"A-HEM" a voice said. We turned around to see her dad there. "Maddie. You have visitors" he said before leaving

"Promise me something" she said

"Anything" I replied

"You'll love me forever" she said. I looked at her and I started smiling

"Forever and a day, Madeleine" I said kissing her again.
