Chapter 15

I was so glad her birthday was on a Saturday. I wouldn't have been able to do this if it wasn't. Eventually her mum and dad came into the front garden "oh hello Charlie" they said

"Hi Mr and Mrs Baker" I replied smiling

"How many times so we have to tell you Charlie. Call us Paul and Sarah!" Her dad smiled.

4 hours later I checked the time. 10am. And me and Leondre were back at my house

"She's so pretty Charlie" Leondre said "Erika said that she was crying when she heard shining star" he continued

"Yeah. Maddie mentioned it. So.. What did you and Eri talk about?" I asked "not much. Bam, bambinos, just little stuff" he said

"Do you like her?" I asked him. Leondre shook his head

"Nah. She's pretty and sweet but nah. Friends" he replied

"Well their friend Ella is there at the party tonight. So if you're still wanting that slightly older girlfriend she's a dancer" I said "oh. And if you see a ginger girl called Darcy. Stay away from her. She's my cousin" I said walking away

"Oh right. Noted. Come on. Let's go to the cinema" he said. We got on the bus and saw Annabeth on the bus. Oh god..

--------------Maddie's POV---------------

I was sat on my bed waiting to start getting ready when my phone buzzed. A text from Annabeth

'Hello bitch. Hope you're having a shit birthday and shining star is a shit song and it's about me. Not you. See ya'

And I thought by birthday couldn't get bad today. I was wrong. I batted if off as much as I could. Took a look at myself in the mirror and started to get ready. Tonight was gonna be perfect.

---------------Erika's POV---------------

I heard the shower start running and I sighed to myself. I went into my wardrobe and looked at my dresses my mum wanted me to wear. I picked out a blue dress that came to just above my knees and it had a white ribbon around the waist line. I walked into Maddie's room. To see what she was wearing. A gold dress that was as just above her shins. I looked at her phone to see the time and I noticed Annabeth had been texting her. I don't normally read her messages but I couldn't not this time. I looked at the message and dropped her phone

"Ah shit" I said picking it back up. It hadn't done anything to it but I quickly dusted it over with a flannel she had in her room and put it back on her dressing table. I ran back into my room and went on Facebook. I went into a group chat I had with Charlie, Darcy, Ella, Tamsin and Luke.

'Dont mention Annabeth to Maddie tonight. She's been texting her stuff. I'll tell ya later but it's not nice x'

As I sent it Maddie came into my room. "Have you seen my clip thing that can be hidden in hair?" She asked me.

"Oh yeah. I borrowed it earlier. Hope you don't mind" I said getting it from my dressing table drawer. "Hey. Madds. Don't let Annabeth get to you today" I continued. She just looked at me confused.

"I wasn't going to?" She said walking out.

--------------Maddie's POV---------------

I walked into the venue. A night club. MY FIRST TIME IN A NIGHT CLUB!! No one was here yet. And my uncle was DJing. Erika and my mum laid out all of the buffet food while my dad and me decorated all of the tables.

Once everything had been done me and Erika stood in the centre of the room and looked at everything.

"We did good" she said

"We did" I replied

"No. We did" my mum started "we've brought 3 beautiful girls into the world. And we couldn't have asked for anything better. We're so proud of you" she continued

"Thankyou mum. Wait. 3?" Erika said

"You know. Livi" my dad said. We never saw Livi. She was always asleep in her room. And when she was awake we were at school. The next thing we knew the 4 year old toddler tottled towards us

"I wuv u Waddie and Ewika" she said wrapping her hands round our legs. I picked her up and Erika tickled her chin.

"Here sister photo" my mum said pulling out her camera. Erika got closer to us and we all looked at her. "Right put Livi down. One of the birthday girls" my mum said. Erika put her arm round my neck and I put mine round her waist. Once we'd taken it. Charlie and Leondre came in

"are we crashing the family bit?" Charlie laughed. I was hid behind my mum and I eventually came out

"No" I said running up to him and hugging him.

"You look beautiful" he said

"Thankyou" I smiled gently kissing him. This was going to be the best birthday party once everyone else got here. I could tell.
