Chapter 21

-----------Maddie's POV-----------

I just stood in a circle. Surrounded by friends' worlds falling apart. Erika turned to me for help. Worry growing on her face.

"Luke" I started. As I started to take the heat for Erika, Charlie ran in his eyes fixing on me as I bacon to speak again "Erika just doesn't feel the same about you anymore. And if she did she wouldn't have done what she did" I finished. Lukes eyes moved from me and onto Erika

"Is that true?" He asked her. Erika looked down and nodded. Luke just sighed and nodded back "friends?" He said

"Friends" Erika smiled hugging him. She left the room followed by Ella.

"Thanks Madds" Luke said

"What for?" I asked

"Saying the most hurtful thing in the nicest way you could have" he replied "look after her Charlie. If you don't. I'll cut your dick off and make you eat it" he said

"Oh thanks. And trust me. I'll look after her" Charlie said putting his arm round me. Luke nodded and walked out so it was just me and Charlie in the room.

"You handled that really well" Charlie said

"I'm a miracle worker like that" I laughed.

"If you say so" he laughed

"I say so" I said hugging him. We stayed there hugging for what seemed like forever. We were broken by Leondres accent

"Erika come here! Stay here Baker!" He shouted

"Reckon they're going to get together?" Charlie ask me

"They belong together. So yeah" I replied. I looked down then looked up to see Charlie infront of me

"You belong with me" he said kissing me. I smiled through the kiss. We should probably go downstairs. But I didn't want to

-----------Charlie's POV------------

We both fell on the bed and broke apart laughing. Her beautiful brown eyes looking me straight in the eye, her blonde hair flowing down her face. I couldn't want her more than I did right then. I kissed her again and pulled her on top of me. She put her arms round my neck and I put mine in the back pockets of her jeans

"A-hem" we heard someone say. We looked up to see Darcy standing in the doorway "swear down. I go to the toilet. Miss a snog, breakup and walk in on my cousin and best friend almost shagging" she laughed walking out

"We need to go downstairs" i said. Maddie nodded at me. She got up and walked downstairs as I trailed downstairs behind her everyone stared at us

"The smart one and the melody. And the thick one and the bars" Ella said

"What are you talking about?" Maddie said. I tapped her shoulder and pointed to the living room. She followed my finger to the living room to see Leondre and Erika on the sofa cuddling. "Told you they belong together" she whispered to me.

"Wait. Where's Luke?" Darcy said. Yeah, where was Luke?
