Chapter 35

"MADDIE!!!!" I shouted again. I ran next door to see Charlie pinned against the wall by Leondre "Leo. I need you. It's Maddie. She just jumped off the balcony" I said. Leo's eyes widened

"WHAT!!" He shouted letting go of Charlie. He ran into my room and we looked over the balcony to see Maddie lying there lifeless.

"Go get my mum and dad 5th floor number 46. I'll go get Maddie" I said. I ran down the stairs. The lift would take too long. I ran over to Maddie's side as soon as I saw her body. "Oh Maddie" I said tears spilling down my cheeks. Could Leo get here any sooner? I needed him more than ever

----------------Leo's POV----------------

I ran down 3 flights of stairs and eventually found Maddie's mums room. I knocked on the door "what's all the banging fo- oh hello Leondre. Are you okay?" Sarah asked me. I shook my head. Tears spilling down my cheeks

"It's Maddie. She saw Charlie with another girl she's flung herself of the balcony. Erika's with her now. They're by the private pool" i spat out all at once. Maddie's mum just in bare foot ran out of the door

"PAUL, MADDIE MIGHT BE DEAD COME ON" Sarah shouted. We all ran down to the private pool. Erika crowded round Maddie's body. I looked up to see Charlie looking out of the window with the girl Maddie saw him with. I knew him going over to her would be a bad idea.

"Oh my god. My baby girl" Paul said kneeling down to Maddie. "Leo. Call an ambulance" he continued through tears. I nodded and started to dial. Once I got off the phone I saw Livi lying next to Maddie's head. Erika still hugging Maddie's lifeless body. I looked at her legs and arms. Blood still pouring out of them. My best friend just layed the motionless. I wanted to hug her so badly but I couldn't. I didn't feel her family wanted me here.

"Leo" Erika said standing up. She walked over to me "Thankyou" she said hugging me. "Go see her. I need to talk to the cops" she said walking away. I walked over to Maddie and kneeled down

"You'll be fine Madds. You can get over this sooner than you think Maddie. I know you can. You're stronger than you think. You can pull through" I whispered pulling her into the biggest hug she would have ever known.

"Is Chawi a muwder?" Livi cooed. I nodded at her.

"Yeah." I said. "Yeah he is" I continued trying to stop my tears. Bit it was no use. There was no stopping them

------------------Erika's POV-----------------

3 hours later i was sat in my room, on mine and Maddie's bed, I think it was safe to say we weren't going to see my nan anymore "Eri? Open up?" My dad's voice said. I pressed the buzzer on the wall to let my dad in he sat on my bed

"News?" I said. I daren't ask though.

"They did everything they could Eri. Maddie can't continue like this. I'm sorry" my dad said. My world collapsed. My sister. Was gone. Gone forever. I couldn't believe it!

"Could I be alone please?" I breathed. My dad nodded and walked out. I stared at my phone screen. A photo of me and Maddie. I screamed and threw it at the wall. The wall to Charlie's room

"I HATE YOU CHARLIE!! I HATE YOU. MY SISTER IS DEAD BECAUSE OF YOU" I shouted to the other room. He'd killed my sister. I couldn't forgive him for this. And I never will. What I wouldn't give to see Maddie's face and hear her voice right now

-------------------Maddie's POV----------------------

I heard bleeps. The sound of life support. My heart rate? Was I dead? In a coma? Or was I just dreaming? The questioned whirled around in my mind. I kept hearing the sound of doctors talking. Then I heard it. A voice. An elderly voice. A voice I'd waited to hear for 15 years. Nana Pam!

"N-N-Nana Pam?" I mumbled

"It's me dear" she said. oh my god. my nana Pam knew who exactly who I was!? And she was here? To see me? I couldn't believe it. Wait. Where was Erika? Leo? My dad? Charlie?
