In art I sat down next to Darcy and we were doing self portraits. Darcy had ginger hair with a white smile. Green eyes, button nose and she was stunning. She looked nothing like Charlie, considering they were related.
"So. Do you like Charlie?" She asked me
"Just as a friend" I replied
"Oh yeah 'friend' if you count friend as staring at him in English and hitting him whenever he teased you, then yeah he's a friend" she smirked
"Okay, okay. I like him a little. I mean he's gorgeous" I replied nearly knocking all of the pencils and colours off of the desk.

CHARLIE'S POV

All I could think of throughout Geography was Maddie. She was pretty, kind, funny. Perfect. Her sister was pretty and funny. But she came across as a bit of a backstabber. Every word mrs Long said made my mind think of Maddie.
"Rivers" the teacher started, I thought of Maddie, her sisters eyes were blue the stereotypical colour of water. And her sister was related to Maddie.
"What do you know about rivers?" Mrs long asked
"Madeleine Alison Baker" I mumbled
"Charlie?" Erika said
"Yes Mad- I mean Erika?" I asked
"Why did you just say Maddie's name?" She asked me
"I didn't?" I replied
"Hmm okay" she said. I went back to my own thoughts
"Madeleine Alison Lenehan" I said
"CHARLIE" Erika shouted "YOU'RE DOING IT AGAIN but with your last name. That's weird" she continued. Making people look at her. But she didn't seem to care. When the bell rang for break Erika shot past me. I knew she'd tell Maddie what I said. And that worried me...

I was sat on a bench with Darcy when Erika ran up to me "MADELEINE I HATE YOU SO MUCH" Erika shouted coming up to me
"What why?" I asked quite confused
"CHARLIE LIKES YOU" she shouted "he was saying your name in geography" she continued
"Saying her name?" Darcy said
"Yes. At first he was like 'Madeleine Alison Barker' then he was like 'Madeleine Alison Lenehan' it was well weird" she said. Me and Darcy looked at each other. Then we heard a rustle in some bushes near us.
"Wait" Darcy said before walking to the bushes "Charlie stop listening in. Just cos you like Madds" she said. Charlie popped his head out of the bushes.. Darcy smirked "told you" she continued. Busted.
