-------------Charlie's POV--------------

I was woken up to the sound of the front door opening and 3 voices being made evident. I looked to my side and Maddie wasn't there. I picked up my phone which had been on charge and went on Instagram. Maddie's cousin Joe had put a photo on

'@joe-dove morning hot chocolate with this un @madeleinebaker #cousin #bestfriend x'

I walked downstairs and saw Maddie sat on the sofa

"Oh good you're up. There's a hot chocolate in the kitchen for you" Maddie said smiling at me.

"Thanks" I said smiling at her. As I walked into the kitchen I heard them both laughing. Were they laughing at me? Or something else? But I couldn't help but feel jealous. It kind if hurt. I felt Joe was talking all of Maddie's attention from me. And I didn't like it

-------------Maddie's POV--------------

"CHARLIE!!" I shouted. Charlie walked in the living room with bloodshot eyes and his hot chocolate. He sat on one of the spinny single chairs in the corner near the TV

"I'm going shopping with Joe and Sadie later. Emily and Erika are going to the cinema and asked if you wanted to go" I smiled. Charlie nodded at me and made his way upstairs

¥¥¥ 3 hours later ¥¥¥

I walked into McDonalds with Joe and Sadie and turned my head to see a familiar group of faces.

"What's up?" Joe asked me

"My friends. Ditched me" I said. Joe followed my stare and we saw all of my friends sitting there. All of them.

Charlie, Erika, Darcy, Ella, Tamsin, Emily. Even Luke!

"Oh. Um. Try to forget about It. Come on. Sadie's bought the food already. Just don't look at them" Joe said hugging me. I smiled at him and we went to sit down with Sadie

-------------Sadie's POV--------------

I watched Maddie and she wasn't eating. She just kept dipping the same chip into some ketchup. I looked at Joe and instantly knew what was up with my cousin.

"Maddie. Do you want to go the toilet?" I asked her. She sat up and nodded. We got out of the booth and walked into the toilets. As soon as we walked in Maddie halted still

"Hey Madds" Ella said

"Don't you hey Madds me Ella!" Maddie snapped

"Aw. She's upset we haven't invited her somewhere. Because little Maddie doesn't know what that's like. Because she's Madeleine Alison Baker. She gets invited everywhere. And she goes out with the one and only Charlie Lenehan. So she has bambinos in love with her. And now she's in a film. That's more she's going to be invited to.." Darcy explained

"Darc!" Maddie exclaimed

"Aw she still calls you Darc. What was it she called Charlie and Emily? Charl? Emmy? Well she might hate Emily when she finds out they're out there now. Alone. Together." Ella exclaimed. The colour in Maddie's face drained and her 2 'friends' left laughing.

"You deserve so much better Maddie" I said

"Sadie? Can we go shopping?" Maddie explained

"Sure!" I said. I watched her look at her face in the mirror and wipe away tears.

¥¥¥ 30 minutes later ¥¥¥

"Why are you looking at hair dye?" Joe asked Maddie

"Because. She's going to move back to Chelsea with us. We're going to live with Lucie" I explained

"When was this decided?" Joe said

"Bout 15 minutes ago. Mum, aunt Sarah and Lucie have agreed on it" I said

"And this results in Maddie dying her hair how?" Joe said again

"Because. I won't be noticed in Chelsea again. And also. I need to somehow show Charlie and everyone else I don't need them" Maddie said going to the till with brown hair dye and makeup I was going to do for her

--------------Maddie's POV---------------

Once I got home I handed my phone to Sadie and I sat infront of the sink she conducted a breakup text to send to Charlie

'Wow... Nice one getting it on with Emily.. Have fun with her Charlie. I'm off to Chelsea again. So yeah, guess I'm try'na say you've been dumped😂 - Maddie'

Sadie placed my phone down and started to dye my hair. Bye bye blonde Maddie. Hello brunette Maddie.
