Chapter 18

I couldn't believe it those 3 words that came out of his mouth in a such a sickeningly sweet tone. "I love you too Adrian" he slowly wrapped his arms around my waist and buried his head in my neck. "Ahem!" I turned around to see my real father, William furiously tapping his shoe. "I know you're my role model but I'm still her father" he scowled "Hi dad" I smiled, Adrian was still clinging to me. "Hello Y/n" he smiled slightly but went back to his usual scowl soon after "So what brings you here?" Adrian asked letting go of me "Alexander called me actually and told me that Y/n wanted to spend the day with me, so I took the day off, despite having so much paperwork" William pushed his glasses back up to the bridge of his nose.
"You're skipping paperwork for me?" I asked in a surprised tone "Indeed, I feel that I have to make up for the times we did not share" I smiled and pulled him into a tight hug. "I think it'd be good for you dearest" Adrian commented "So like a father-daughter day?" William nodded and smiled "Certainly" I smiled. I couldn't wait to spend the day with my father. "I have to go get ready" I hurried upstairs and changed into a casual f/c floor length dress on and put a 2/f/c ribbon in my hair. I walked down the steps but stopped when I heard two familiar voices. "I don't approve of this arrangement, but as long as it's for her safety" I heard Adrian chuckle "Don't worry Spears I'm not going to hurt her in anyway, I'm going to protect her from her mother" I gasped my mother she's alive "Your poor daughter thinks her mother died because I reaped her soul, she doesn't know that her mother is alive and well and keeps sending her servants to find Y/n" Adrian's tone turned serious, I put my hand over my mouth in suprisement.
"Well I've tried to figure out M/n's location, but unfortunately I've found nothing" William said sighing "I couldn't imagine what Y/n would so is she found out she'd has been lied to all her life about her mother." I walked down to the last step where it created a loud creaking  and signaled the two men that I was there the whole time. Both of the men turned toward me, tears started to slowly trail down my cheeks.

"My mom she's alive?"
