Chapter 28

F/b/f- favorite breakfast food

    After helping Adrian with his work, he suggested that I should get some rest. I agreed and went upstairs to lay in our bed. I kicked off my shoes and laid down, at this point I didn't feel like changing, so I fell asleep asleep with my casual attire on. After a couple of hours had passed, I had woken up and heard Adrian softly snoring. His arms were loosely wrapped around my waist, they were still covered in bandages, I frowned. It was my fault that he was hurt, he had tried to convince me that it wasn't, but it was. He pulled me closer, I felt my back touch his torso, he softly kissed my shoulder.
      "I love waking up next to you" he whispered softly. I smiled "I wish we could stay like this" I said as I rolled over to face him, making sure that I don't hit his arms. "Why can't we stay like this?" he asked with a light smirk on his face. I laughed "I have to do your job, remember?" I gave him a quick peck on the cheek. "Ugh, sometimes I don't like my job" he mumbled and removed his arms from around my waist. I got up out of bed and looked in my wardrobe and decided to wear a white button-down collared shirt with a skirt and boots. "I should probably take a bath huh?" I smiled at Adrian, who was currently sitting on the edge of the bed watching me.
        He smirked "Yes you should, can I join you?" I blushed "If I had more time you could, but I don't" I smiled. "But, you can always join me next time" I walked into the bathroom and ran a bath, I wondered what would happen if Adrian was in the bath with me. Whether it would be intimate or just a bath with him where we would just chat and wash each others hair. I stripped out of my clothes and got into the bath, pushing my thoughts away, I washed my hair then my body. I rinsed and got out, I got dressed and combed my hair, getting rid of the knots that formed in it when I washed it. I decided to leave it down, and then I eyed myself in the mirror, I decided that I looked decent and exited the bathroom.
       I smiled when I noticed that Adrian had made our bed while I was in bath. I walked down the stairs and saw Adrian making breakfast "I thought you could use some fuel to burn while you work" he chuckled. "Thank you dear" I smiled and quickly ate the f/b/f that he made me "I can't believe that I slept until morning" I sighed. "Well you did look quite exhausted yesterday dearest, I'm just glad you got a good amount of sleep" he smiled. He kissed me on the forehead "I'm ready to start the day."
