Chapter 33

After me and Adrian's search, I decided to take a little nap. After I woke up, I decided to get dressed and head downstairs. When I entered the kitchen I opened up the cupboard to see that it was nearly empty. All this stuff that has been happening has kept me from shopping for necessities. So I exited the shop, locked the door and walked towards the town square. I walked toward the local bakery and walked in, an all too familiar man was behind the counter. "What in the world are you doing in here Zachary?" he smirked "Well, it seems to me that I'm working" I folded my arms. "Really? You work here? What did you do? Kill the owner?" he chuckled "Maybe I did, maybe I didn't." I immediately frowned "You didn't did you?" he shook his head "No darling, I didn't" I smiled "Good, now I'd like a loaf of bread please." He went to the back room and came back with a loaf of bread "Would you like anything else? Perhaps a pastry?" "No thank you" he smiled softly "You know darling, it's good to spoil yourself sometimes" I sighed. "Well I believe that I've been spoiled enough by my future husband" I pulled the bread out of his hand "My goodness, you are feisty" he chuckled.

I ignored him and exited the bakery, then I went to the market. I noticed an all too familiar man at a fruit stand, he seemed to see me as well. "Y/n! How are you, sweetheart?" Alexander exclaimed as he wrapped his arms around me tightly "I've been great, how about you?" I realized I shouldn't have asked that question because he started to ramble on about how he got his hair done, got new clothes, etc. "Yeah that's nice Alexander" I smiled "Yes, so what brings you to the market?" he asked as we walked past various stands "Well obviously I'm here to shop" he laughed "Of course you are! I shouldn't have asked such a stupid question, anyway I'll be off now!" he waved as he dissapeared into the crowd in front of me. I stopped at various stations buying flour, sugar, milk, fruits, and some vegetables. I finally had made it home when the sun started to set, I had been shopping all day, and it was extremely tiring. I locked the door again and walked into the kitchen to find Adrian reading a book while leaning against a door frame. "I was wondering where you had gone" he put his book down to help take the bags out of my hands.

He put away the groceries "You didn't have to go shopping by yourself" he smiled and kissed my cheek. "You won't believe who I ran into today, it was Zachary and-" "Please tell me he didn't try anything" he scowled. "No he didn't, but I also ran into Alexander" he chuckled "Let me guess he spent your whole conversation bragging" I laughed "Yes, he did" he smiled. "Well I'm glad you had fun today" then I remembered what Adrian had to do today "Did you get scolded at for turning those records in late?" he shook his head "No, although it did cause quite a stir in the reaper world, I did not because of my high reputation." After putting away the groceries Adrian sat down on a sofa that was across from another one, I sat down beside him and put my hand on his cheek, my thumb rubbing against the soft skin. He leaned down and pressed his lips against mine, he placed his hand on my thigh, and I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him close.

I removed my arms from around his neck and stood, I slid my dress down to my ankles. He got up and went behind me eagerly untying my corset strings, his lips caressing the back of my neck. Then, I felt my corset loosen up and it fell onto the ground, his hands then traveled from my back to my chest. His fingers ghosted over my nipples, I bit my lip, waiting for him to make a move "Before I go any further, do you want to do this?" he asked. I nodded and turned around to face him, he was so close to me, my breasts pressed up against his clothed one "Yes I'm ready for you" he smiled and leaned down, his lips barely grazed mine when there was a knock at the door. I smiled bashfully and he sighed "Undertaker! Open this door right now!" I laughed "That sounds like it's Ciel" I said "That's because it is, dearest I dread to this this but we'll have to continue this later" he smirked and walked toward the front of the building. Leaving me completely topless in the middle of our living quarters, so I grabbed my corset, shoes, and dress before heading up to our bedroom.
