A/N: Hey!! Happy Easter to all of you who celebrate it, if not, happy.... Sunday! This was requested a while ago, and to that person, sorry for the wait! But it's here!!

ALSO: THANK YOU FOR 100K! I know it's old news, but I have a big surprise coming up that may be sad, but also exciting. THANK YOU I LOVE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU.

One last thing, bear with me on my POVS. I usually write in a sort of 3rd person, but with you.. it's weird. But I'm interested in writing an original story, and I'm experimenting with 1st person for that purpose. Thanks!!

Time: Present

"James! Being sick on my first day was something I had not planned on doing! I was lucky enough to be parted with your genes of constant sickness, but I'm not immune to the sickness you spread upon our home!" I practically yelled at my brother while holding a tissue to my running nose.

"It's a cold, Y/N. You're going to survive." The practical James Madison replied, arms crossed walking into the home office.

"Says you! You come down with the flu as often as if it was the common cold. See Jamie, I know you're not too fond of me working with you, if this was some kind of plot or trick-"

"What, to make you sick? To get you to back down? I know my little sister well enough not to bring her down from exquisite hopes and dreams. It's just these dreams involve my workplace which I never expected you to inherit!"

"You know I want to be president someday." I remove the tissue, tossing it into the trash cans held underneath the mahogany wooden desk. "I look up to you Jamie."

"You're fresh out of college, fearless and unafraid. But politics is an entirely different world. There are government officials you don't want to meet, certain sides you don't want to take. Don't kill me for being a bit worried." James uncrossed his arms and sat upon that same desk.

"And I'm sure I'll only be working a desk job today. Maybe for a month, a year. That's how you started." I gave a soft smile, placing a hand over James'.

"Yeah but you're my super hot, intelligent, prodigy sister. Who knows what they'll make you do compared to my first day."

"Big brothers aren't supposed to call their little sisters hot, or even attractive Jamsie."

"But that's exactly what they're supposed to do, Y/N."

My smile widened, and I jumped out of the desk chair and grabbed James' hand.

"Let's go to work."

Work and business was something the Madison family took seriously. Though usually overruled and overlooked by others, we were very hard workers.

Public government positions was a challenge many placed themselves upon in my family. Many words of wisdom passed down as well.

I had everything perfectly planned out in my mind. Every possible scenario, good or bad. If a problem arose, I'd have a battle plan. If the unexpected happened, it would be deemed expected, because I was prepared.

But no amount of planning could have prepared me for the likes of Alexander Hamilton.

Yes, James spoke of him frequently and stated his brilliant, yet insane actions. Though these stories were nothing compared to the actual Alexander.
