"My shift is over for the day!" (Y/n) hummed, hanging up her apron in its designated spot. She quickly took out the tips she had gotten from kind customers, counting up at least 40 dollars from the whole day.  "I'm off now!"
"Wait! Take this!" Her boss, Doyoung, yelled at her. He ran over, giving her a cute smile, before handing her a large grey umbrella. " it looks as though it's going to rain soon."
"Thank you!" She replied, bending slightly before giving him one last wave. (Y/n) left the shop, the umbrella tightly in her right hand, her bag in her left. She continued walking down the shops and the street, watching as the street lamps flickered on, signaling that night has fallen upon the quiet town. She continued to walk, but slowly came to a stop as she reached her destination; the bus stop.
By the time she got there, the rain slowly came down upon her. She didn't want to open her umbrella, not just yet.
(Y/n) smiled to herself as she felt the rain fall upon her face, then slowly cascade down the features of her face. It felt somewhat...calming to her, feeling the rain against her soft skin.
Though, she did not want to ruin her hair, so she finally opened the umbrella, shielding her hair from the now-pouring rain. It was quiet for a few minutes, before she heard the splashing of feet against the puddles of the rain. Her eyes immediately shifted towards the noise. It was around two blocks away, a male running while the bus was catching up to him. His satchel was covering his head, his legs striding towards the bus stop. As the bus stopped at the bus stop, (y/n) got on, hearing the soft calls of the male.
"Wait! Wait!" He yelled, trying to get the attention of the bus driver. Sadly, the driver paid no attention, letting (y/n) on and immediately closing the door, since he was too far away.
(Y/n) sighed to herself, putting her bag down on the chair next to her and staring at the male outside the window as the bus continues without him.
Let's just hope he sees it.
-
The mysterious male sighed to himself, running his hands through his hair as his satchel falls to his side and a discomforted look fall upon his face. Now he was going to have to wait in the rain for another 15 minutes before-
His train of though stopped as his eyes caught something laying against the bus sign. It was a large umbrella, placed by the bright sign. It was as if something laid it there for him, feeling slight pity for him not being in time for the bus.
At first, he waited.
He waited for someone to come by, to come grab it like the had forgotten it and didn't intend it to be for him.
But no one came.
So, he gracefully grabbed the grey umbrella, opening it up. Immediately, he was shielded away from the storm, his face dripping with old rain and his clothes soaked. His smiled happily, closing his eyes for a few seconds, before opening them again. His eyes flickered from left to right, before landing on a peculiar tag sticking out from the end of it.
As he got on to the second bus, he shook off the excess water and paid his fare, before sitting down. He wrapped the umbrella back up, but not before getting a glimpse of the tag.
If lost, bring back to (l/n) (y/n) at Corner Coffee.

"What do you mean you lost your umbrella?" Doyoung scolded (y/n), serving a customer their coffee and moon cake.
"Do you not understand the meaning? It means it's gone, Doyoung."
"Hey don't you get sassy with me, I bought you that umbrella."
"I know I know," (y/n) replied, twirling past him and giving another customer a nice iced coffee, "but I left it at the bus stop, there's nothing to it." She continued with her job, going back to the counter and going inside the back room to make more coffee. Doyoung sighed, hearing the door ring.
He went to the counter, putting on a small smile for the customer, before faltering as he saw the shy male hold an all-too-familiar umbrella in the palm of his hands.
"E-excuse me," his soft voice said, even sending a small blush to appear on Doyoung's cheeks," is.. (l/n)here?"
"(Y/n)! I think I know where your umbrella went!" Doyoung yelled, a small smile appearing on his lips. He watched as (y/n) came out of the back room, a small smudge of ground-up coffee on her face. Her eyes traveled from Doyoung, to the male, down to the umbrella, then back up to the male.
"I see you found it! I hope it did you useful." (Y/n) replied, giving him a small smile.
"I'm Jungwoo. Thank you for leaving this.. if you intended to, I mean." He said, a small blush appearing on his face. Jungwoo thought that (y/n) looked beautiful, breathtaking, even.
Even with that smudge of coffee on her face.
"It was meant for you! I knew the bus wouldn't stop for you, so I left my umbrella. You needed it more than I did." (Y/n) chuckled, wiping her hands on her apron and giving him a bright smile. "Anything you want from the menu is on me! Consider it a thank you for not stealing my umbrella."
"O-okay!"
Jungwoo found his new favorite place to go when he was free. The Corner Coffee.
He visited around 4 times every week, ordering the same thing over and over.
Just so he can get a look at (y/n)'s wonderful smile once more.
