PART 23 - Half Way Through USA Tour

~A month later~

Half way through your already?! That's crazy. Last night was the Albuquerque show in sunshine theatre and it went smoothly just like the others and was amazing. The boys had a week off, starting in Albuquerque and half way through the week make our way to Dallas, Texas; Zach's hometown.

Today we were planning on going go-karting. We were on our way there. It took about an hour to get there from where we were currently so we had some time to do the usual: play fortnite and chat.

Zach: Corbyn wanna play fortnite?
Corbyn: is that even a question?
Zach: yes...
Corbyn: Zach, I was being sarcastic...
Zach: ohhhhh
Corbyn: anyway, melo-
Melody: coming!
Zach: I think you've made her addicted
Corbyn: possibly
Daniel: ugh, fortnite, you guys are weird and unsociable
Melody: we still talk, maybe just not as much.
Daniel: ok ok I guess, Jo mind taking some Instagram photos of me on the bus? Even though it's not the most scenic place
Jonah: why not
Jack: can I join?
Daniel: yeah, why not

Daniel, Jonah and jack went to rake some instagram pictures whilst me Corbyn and Zach played fortnite. For the first time in forever I beat both of them. I came first, Corbyn 2nd Zach 3rd.

Zach: how did I lose to both of you?!
Corbyn; how did melody come 1st
Melody: How did I come first?
Corbyn: you must've been practicing.
Zach: yeah tell us your secrets.
Melody: nope :)
Corbyn; I'll tickle you
Melody: no! You know I hate being tickled
Zach; 3.. 2.. 1..

I stood up knowing they were about to chase me around the bus. When they got to one I ran. I knew I would get trapped but I still ran. The boys chased me and
Trapped me in the corner. They began tickling me.

Melody: AHH SYOP STOP
Corbyn: tell us your secrets.
Melody: No!
Zach: ok well we'll tickle you till you do.
Melody; STOP AHHH STOP HAHA STOP! I'll tell you then!
Zach: go ahead.
Melody: when you guys are rehearsing I sneak out after setting up and come on the bus to have a quick game.
Corbyn: anything else?
Melody: nooooo *i looked away suspiciouslu*
Corbyn: yes there is! come on tell us
Melody: ok I also watch video on the best ways to play
Zach: wow your smart
Melody: I know, now get off me, we're nearly at the destination.

The Corbyn and Zach stood up helping me up and we went back to where we were and chatted about random stuff until we got to the go-karting place.

~10 minutes later~

We arrived at the go-karting place and we all go suited up. I did enjoy the tour it's really fun but when you have days off it's literally the best. To begin with each person went with 9 other people we didn't know but after that we all raced each other. Me, niamh Zach, jack,Daniel,Corbyn,Jonah, Eben, Zack the photographer and Tyler.

First round (Zach with people we don't know): Zach came 3rd
Second round (Eben with people we don't know): Eben came 5th
Third round (Jonah with people we don't know): Jonah came 2nd
Fourth round (Daniel with people we don't know): Daniel came 1st
Fifth round (myself with people we don't know): I came 4th
Sixth round (jack with people we don't know): jack came 3rd
Seventh round (Tyler with people we don't know): Tyler came 7th
Eighth round (Niamh with people we don't know): Niamh came 2nd
Ninth round (Zack with people we don't know): Zack cane 6th
Tenth round (Corbyn with people we don't know): Corbyn came 1st

After Zach had his turn I noticed he disappeared, he arrived back when I had just finished my turn. I slipped from Corbyns hugs and went to talk to him.

Zach: Hey!
Melody: Hey, Where'd you go?
Zach: what do you mean?
Melody: After you finished your round you disappeared, after my turn you arrived back.
Zach: oh I just went to the bathroom
Melody: I don't believe you, it doesn't take that long.
Zach: fine, I saw this cute girl and I wanted to get her number.
Melody: and did you?
Zach: yeah..
Melody: well that's good, what's her name?
Zach: Alicia (Pronounced Aleesha)
Melody: oh nice! Well I'm gonna go back to Corbyn see ya!
Zach: see ya

I hugged Zach and went back to Corbyn. Zach stood in the corner watching whilst talking to jack who went to him as I left.

After Corbyn finished his go we all got into a kart and raced. We did 3 laps which was really fun. I really enjoyed it. The results were:

3rd: Me

9th: Zack
10th: Tyler

Tyler: I can't believe I came last!
Zack: me neither, I can't believe I came 9th
Jack: guys it's fine, Zack your good at being a photographer and Tyler your good at your qualities it's ok that you didn't win.
Corbyn: and I mm good at everything
Melody: totally :)
Corbyn: Hey! *corbyn chased me around pulling me into hugs*
Daniel: ok stop flirting you guys!
Jonah: And Zach get off your phone, let's enjoy ourself for the day.
Zach: yeah sorry.
Eben: Ok where next?
Bus driver: oh you'll see
Most people: huh?
Bus driver: just hop on, it's gonna be a long journey. Roughly 3 hours.

Everyone was confused except me, niamh, Zack Tyler and the manager we knew exactly where we were going as I planned it with niamh, Zack, Tyler and the manager.

Everyone got on the bus and we began to drive. Everyone decided to nap, climbing in their bunks. Corbyn cuddling me and both falling to sleep until we reached our destination.
