Changing lives constantly: The prequel

CHAPTER 1:4

Jane(Mia) P.O.V

The next day at school was not that bad to be honest. The only bad part was waking up early like who wakes up to go to school at 6 am. Seriously, l might die of sleep deprivation instead. I went to school by myself and parked in the parking lot at the same time as my sister even though l purposely took a different route. I did not want to start conflicts before l could put my plan into action.

I went to my office straight away and found the vice president already in his seat typing furiously. Like how is he here already? I am not even going to ask how long he has been here otherwise l might blush with shame. I sat and down and started the work for a whole hour before going to my homeroom. When l walked in, l was bombarded with questions like "Since when did you know Dean, Mia?" and "Are you seeing each other?" and "Why was he looking for you?". Tsk what is this boy doing. Does he want me to die early by being stabbed in the back by my sister. I did not even reply and just directly to my seat and started day dreaming.

Because l was day dreaming, l did not hear the shout "AHhh! Dean is here again!!!" and by the time l turned back to look at the front, the boy was walking towards me. I had to first stop and stare because l was confused. Why was he looking for me? I am not my sister and if he calls me "Diana" I am not replying at all since that is not my name. He came up to me and asked "Where is Diana?" and l became even more confused. I said "How am l supposed to know? The last time l saw her was at 6:30am when l arrived at school at the same time as her but thats about it." Then he said "I'm going to stick with you until I see Diana" and l was like "We barely even interact. How are you going to find her if you stick with me. Besides, l've got stuff to do. I'm a busy girl." He just ignored what l said and replied "I'll see you at break."

What the hell! This is just going to make me die faster if he is always with me. Actually though, it may help with my plan because if he is closer to me, l can introduce him to Anne and hold off my sister until they fall in love. But before any of that, l need to lay low for a while so l don't die early. At break time, l purposely went to the head master's office to ask for permission for one of my plans as head girl. It was time to use my position to achieve the end goal. I walked into his office and sat down in one of the plush chairs. He then asked "Why are you here today Mia?" to which l replied "I have a few ideas to be able to get new students for the school." Obviously this was not a new idea on planet earth but on this continent, no one seemed to want to do tours to promote their school so l talked to the head master about it. I said, "I want to introduce a new program called touring where we send invitations to high profile families who have children that want to join or are thinking about joining the school. They would get a tour around the school and a glimpse of what it would be like in high school after middle school. This would make them more interested in the school. The adults and children would be separated since it is the child's decision and there would be guards as well as police to monitor the whole thing and provide security"

For those who cannot guess my plan, it is to invite Anne's family to the school and allow me to give her a tour of the school while simultaneously giving a slice of school life through Dean as a department tour guide. This would allow me to leave them together and create the bonds of friendship hopefully. I'm saying hopefully because she might be arrogant at the moment and it would be hard to make Dean like her unless l put pressure on her by introducing her as a gentle and kind lady which would automatically force her to be like that so she would not destroy any first impressions. I told the head master my plan and surprisingly he agreed because it would increase publicity for the school. At this point, l obviously forgot about the whole "Lets meet at break" thing because the moment l stepped out of the office, Dean grabbed my hand and rushed to the cafeteria. Well whoops, I did not think it was important for me to meet him at all.
