I tossed my phone on the kitchen island as the alert came through. He posted again.

I cracked a smile at the photo. But she was there.

She was right there.

I shook my head locking my phone back up.

The black screen was a reality check for me.

He came so easily and can be gone so easily.

"I am just saying that isn't correct!"

I looked up as Sebastian came through the door with Harlow infront of him.

"No, I am telling you that is how it goes." Harlow shot back at him.

She passed the food container over to me as I caught it. "I am just saying that isn't how I am gonna play."

I flipped the lid as part of me was waiting for him to walk through that door.

Sebastian closed it with a laugh, "I don't like that."

Harlow glanced back at me, "Brooklyn?"

"I think I wanna take a walk."

"You sure?" Harlow asked me.

Sebastian looked back at me, "Is this about the photo?"

"What?" Harlow commented back confused.

"No, this isn't about that." I grinned back at him.

"Trust me, Scarlett is a bitch but I wouldn't worry about her. She doesn't mean a thing."

I nodded my head back at him, "So where is he? And why does he only talk to me at night. He comes in the back way of the building. You really wanna say something to me? Its been a month since the fight. Nothing has been ok."

Harlow looked back at me, "Brooklyn..."

"I am gonna take a walk. I will come back later."

Harlow watched me out the door.

"I am gonna call him." Sebastian picked up his phone.

Harlow reached over pushing it back down, "No, she needs to say it."

"Say what?"

Harlow looked back at him. "He needs to make a choice."

My hood was pulled up over my head as the wind started to pick up around me.

My blonde hair was pulled into a braid that fell onto my chest.

His building was on the other side of town but that didn't matter.

The night sky was growing dark when I came up to his place.

The park across the street was emptying with children as the basketball courts were now starting to fill up.

I stopped on the other side of the fences as the guys ran around in the half circle yelling for the ball.

My eyes went to the black SUV that pulled up to the building with the door man.

His long legs came out of the building first.

The signature baseball hat couldn't hide his jawline for miles.

Somehow the basketball slipped of their fingers and hit the fence infront of me.

"Hey darling, you like what you see?" His lip curled up as he flexed.

I watched the black SUV pull away from the front of the building, "No, I actually don't."
