Ade.

I walked out of the restaurant in anger and wiped the tears angrily from my face

How dare he?

Watch me hang?

Rubbish, he's mad, he's really mad

I walked towards the room and sighed when it was locked. I used my spare keys to open the door and shivered as the air rushed into my face
"They left the air conditioner on?" I muttered under my breath and sighed
"How careless" I said and closed the door behind me.

God please talk to me, why did Mr Mahone speak like that?

I waited for an answer and groaned when I got none

"Lord what is happening!? Is Esther making a mistake?" I asked and sat on the bed
"Am I making a mistake?" I asked and kept my head in my palms
"Ughh" I groaned and jumped when the door opened
"Jay!" I said surprised and I groaned internally

Not now , I'm not in the mood

His face was expressionless and I sighed tiredly
"Jay" I said and he raised up his hand
"What is the matter with you Mademi?" He asked and I stared at him in disbelief
"What?" I replied and he closed the door behind him
"You've been acting very weird Made" he said and I massaged my fore head
"Jay let me explain" I said and he raised his hand up again
"Save it. This is your punishment, You'll go on suspension immediately after the retreat"
"Jay!" I said and he placed the first two fingers on his lips before continuing
"For a week and also  you'll be on laundry duty for a month" he said and I stared at him in disbelief

Is this Jay talking?

"Also" he said breaking me out of my thoughts
"Tobi and the choristers will choose a punishment for you and you'll face the disciplinary Parliament when we get back to the cathedral" he added and I feel my eyes sting all over again
"Is this necessary?" I asked and he sighed
"Ade i am not punishing you for missing prayers, I'm punishing for not providing an explanation and being rude to your choir master and choir mistress" he said and I sniffle
"Okay" I said and looked away from him making him to sigh
"Made" he called and I ignored him

Shoot me I'm being childish

"Mademi?" He said and turned me to face him
"Don't be offended. I'd have done the same to anyone else" he said and I turned to him
"I'm not anyone else Jay!" I yelled and he closed his eyes
"The main reason why I left the room was because of Kemi" I said and he stared at me
"This again Made?" He asked before rolling his eyes
"Jay will you just listen to me?" I asked and he raised my face up
"Made you're worrying about things too much, Kemi's just a friend" he said and I removed his hands

"Will you just listen to me!" I yelled and he massaged his fore head
"I don't think anything is gong on between you and Kemi okay! I just don't like the way she's making me feel" I said and he locked the door

"Fine let's talk" he said and sat down
"Talk"

Why is he being like this?
I took a deep breath and sat beside him
"Jay, Kemi makes me feel as if she doesn't like the two of us together or something" I said and he stared at me
"Only Esther knows what's going on between us, so what do you mean?" He asked and I looked away
"I don't know how to explain it" I whispered and he stood up
"You're just being jealous Made and I've told you that there's nothing to be jealous about" he said and I stood up
"Why will I be jealous Jay?" I asked and he rolled his eyes
"Made you need to relax" he said as came close to massage my shoulders

"Don't Jay!" I removed his hands and stood up
"You're not even reasoning with me!" I said and he sighed
"Made there's nothing to reason about"

What?

Wow. Really just wow

"Seriously Jay?" I whispered and he sighed
"All what you're doing is just unnecessary drama"

What?
Drama?

I stood up and cleared my throat to hide the sob before facing him
"Sorry for my unnecessary drama" I spat and he had a look on his face before he held my hand
"Made I didn't mean it that way, I'm sorry, what I meant was that you're just worrying about unnecessary things" he said and a tear fell

Unnecessary things?

"Made please don't cry let me make it up to you" he said and I shook my head
"Its fine" I said and walked towards the door
"Made please" he pleaded and I ignored him and opened the door.

No one has the right to make me feel inferior, especially not Kemi and Jay isn't ready to listen.

I paused by the door and turned to stare into his pleading eyes
"Made let's talk about this" he said and I shook my head before turning to walk away

"Ouch!" I looked up at the person I bumped into and felt my anger flare up

Kemi

"Can't you apologize, I mean you bumped into me" she said and I rolled my eyes before walking away.

God I don't want to hate her. Remove the spirit of hatred Lord.

I whispered that prayer continuously as I walked towards a direction I didn't even know as the tears fell freely and bumped into another person

I looked up and saw Mr Mahone before hissing and attempting to walk away

"Fade" he whispered harshly and I snapped

"What is your problem Mr Mahone! I am not Fade! Get that into your thick" I said and jabbed my finger against his shirt
"Stubborn" I jabbed my finger again
"Skull" I was about to jab my finger but he caught it mid air and used it to pull me with him

"Hey let go of me!" I protested and he rolled his eyes
"You're obviously hurt and I want to be the only reason why you're hurt" he said and I gasped

What kind of man is this?

"So now I have to make you feel better Fade" he said and paused before turning to me
"So that I can hurt you again" he smirked and  I struggled against him
"Let go of me" I said and he pushed me to a corner and pulled out a gun
"This is a silencer, the newest of its kind and I will be more than happy to blast your fucking brains off but I have to get you prosecuted first, so you better have fun or else" he said and pressed the gun against my head

He came down to my ear level and whispered
"I will do exactly what you did to my wife"
