"Chief Leroy sir" I said and saluted
"All these aren't necessary sir" I added and watched as Esther, Selene and little ex stared at us
"You are not performing your duties Officer Mahone" he said and I shook my head
"No sir, investigations are still going in sir" I added and he smiled
"Your investigations will be easier in New York" he said before turning to the SWAT team being him
"Neutralize the suspect and arrest her" he said and Esther walked towards us
"You can't arrest her without a warrant and proof that she is guilty of whatever you are accusing her of" she said and he smiled
"Show her the warrant please" he said to one of his men and he gave Esther the warrant before coming to my front
"Step aside officer Mahone" he said and Made hugged me from behind before clamping her fingers together
"Davis don't leave me" she sobbed and I turned to him
"I'm afraid I can't" I replied to Leroy and his gaze hardened before he turned to his team mates
"Get her, with or without force" he said and I took a fighting stance. One walked close to me and I punched him before turning around and punching the next.
"Don't do this Davis" Chief Leroy warned and I glared at him
"I'm afraid I can't do that" I replied and kicked a SWAT person away. I heard the low buzzing of a shocker and dodged it before kicking it out of the team mate hand and immobilizing his limbs. I stood in front of Made and glared at Leroy
"She's innocent" I stated and he walked closer to me
"That's for the court to decide" he said when he got to my front
"Step aside Davis or you just might have a law suit for prevention of justice and a problem of insubordination from the higher ups" he said and I looked at Made apologetically.

I can't afford to go to prison. I have to take care of Selene

"Davis no, you promised" she said when she got the message and held onto me when I stepped aside
"No let go of me!" She cried as the SWAT team successfully ripped her from me while she trashed about. Soon another siren was heard and the Nigerian police came in a van before parking and walking towards us
"What is the problem here gentlemen" the gruff guy asked and Leroy turned to him
"I am Leroy Bruce, Chief of the police, New York" he said and the man eyed him
"Your ID please" the other officer asked and Leroy presented his ID
"You are harassing a citizen" the man stated and Leroy smiled
"She's a suspect for a case that we are currently handling" he said and the man walked towards Made before cocking his gun. The SWAT team looked at Leroy for confirmation before dropping her and walking back to the car
"I am sure you know how to do things the proper way Officers" the man said and held Made
"If you feel she is a suspect for your case, present your evidences to the court and wait for judgement. Until the court has given you clearance to take her for further investigations or prosecution I'm afraid you can't take her anywhere"

Impressive

Leroy cussed under his breath and smiled
"We will do just that officer" he said and the officer turned to Made
"Are you okay?" He asked and she nodded her head
"Do you want to press charges?" He asked and she shook her head before he sighed at turned to us
"Further harassments is punishable by law. I'll be holding onto your ID for confirmation. Good day gentlemen" he said and walked towards his car before driving off.

"Davis he has my ID" Leroy said and turned to Made
"The Fade I know would've killed everybody to run away, you've grown weak Fade" he said and Made his behind me
"Davis do your job" he said and I sighed
"Leroy"
"Its Chief Leroy, we don't want her thinking we're friends now do we" he said and I sighed
"Made" I started and she shook her head with tears in her eyes
"Davis I'm innocent, you know I'm innocent"

I know that but the whole world doesn't.

I brought out my ID and showed her
"Miss Made, right now you are under surveillance, you can't leave the the city or the country" I started and she started sobbing
"Whatever you say can and will be used against you in the court of law" I finished and she began sobbing uncontrollability
"I didn't do anything I swear" she cried and Leroy smiled
"See you in court Fade" he said and walked away leaving me alone with a crying Made.
