"Fade won! She won!" Tobi yelled as she embraced me and I smiled shakily
"Yeah she did" I said and Fade waltzed towards us with a happy smile
"You won Fade!" Esther exclaimed and Fade rolled her eyes before turning towards me
"Thank you hot stuff" she said and I tipped my imaginary hat which made them to laugh
"Speaking about hot stuffs check out how that officer is glaring daggers at us" she said and I turned to where she motioned to meet Brad's heated gaze
He motioned for me to come and I sighed

I'm honestly not in the mood for any rubbish talk

"Excuse me ladies" I said then walked towards Brad who was walking towards a small office. I opened the door and was greeted with a punch on my face
"You douche!" He yelled and I closed the door
"What was that for?" I asked and his gaze hardened again. He was about to swing another punch but I stopped his hand midway
"What the hell is your stress Brad!?" I asked and he yanked his hand away from mine
"Your dead wife's testimony was the strongest and you suddenly didn't give it anymore!"
"Well that was my choice to make and I didn't want to give it again" I said and he swung another punch at me. I massaged my jaw and sighed
"I'm sorry Brad" I said and he laughed
"You're sorry?" He asked before laughing drying
"Tell that to the families that were deprived of justice" with that he walked away and I groaned before walking back to meet Tobi and Fade.
"Here's your car key" Fade said and I shook my head
"Bring it to the house" I said then turned to Tobi
"I'm going back home" I said and she gave me a questioning look which I ignored and walked away.

Should I have given the testimony?

That would've been lying since Tobi isn't dead

I parked in front of my house and smiled when I saw the lights on
"Selene" I called with enthusiasm and she turned to me with a sad expression

What happened?
"Baby what happened?" I asked while rushing to her side and she looked up at me with tears eyes
"Made" she cried and I held her face up
"Calm down Selene, breathe, just breathe, tell me everything that happened"
"Ma....de, it was ho..ho..rible" Selene cried and I was about to probe further when I heard my phone ringing

Leroy, what does he want?

"Hello" I picked the call while patting Selene's hair
"You need to come" he said and I sighed
"What's the problem, I'm kinda busy right now with Selene " I said and I heard shuffling on the Other side and waited impatiently for Leroy
"It's Made, you need to come right now" he said and I sighed
"I'm on my way" I hung up and turned to Selene
"Baby, lets go out okay?" I said and she shook her head
"I don't think I can be around her without crying dad" Selene sniffle and I sighed
"Can you stay alone?" I asked and she nodded but I wasn't convinced
"I'm taking you to the Gerald's " I said then carried her into the car.
We got there in less than ten minutes and the door opened to reveal Ryan
"Good afternoon sir" he said and I smiled before stepping into the house with Selene in my grasp
"Your mum?" I asked and he pointed towards the kitchen. I entered and immediately the strong scent of alligator peppers invaded my nostrils
"Davis, how nice to see you , oh my God what happened to her" she said and dropped the spoon before rinsing her hand quickly and walking towards us
"It's a long story but I need you to look after her, I have some urgent business to attend to" I said then kissed Selene's forehead
"Davis you need to create time for Selene more often" she said and I groaned internally

"We'll talk later over tea, thanks again, I really have to go" I said then rushed to my car before driving towards Leroy's house. I parked the car before coming down and dialing Leroy's number
"Hello" he said and I walked toward the heavily guarded gates
"Tell your men to let me in" I said and he hung up. They stepped aside and I walked towards the boys quarters. I opened the door and saw Leroy seated with a gloom expression on his face
"What's the matter with Made?" I asked and he motioned for the chair
"Davis, a very unfortunate thing happened to Made day before yesterday" Leroy said and I raised my eyebrows
"What happened Leroy ?" I asked and he shook his head
"Take, watch" he passed his phone to me and I sighed irritatedly at his beating about the bush before playing the video

Oh my God

I couldn't take my eyes off the screen as the content played before me. Which officer is this!?

His face passed the camera for a split second and I paused, before rewinding and pausing again

Jake

That newbie is a rapist!?

"Where the hell is Jake?" I asked angrily and Leroy sighed
"Fade took him" he said and I smiled

At least he'd get the punishment he deserves

But Fade didn't tell me Made was raped

"And Made? How is she taking it?" I asked and Leroy sighed
".That's the main reason why I called you Davis. She's not talking to me, she requested to see you" he said and I stood up
"Where is she?" I asked and he picked up his keys
"At the hospital"

We drove in separate cars  to the hospital and entered the room to meet what's his name again? Jay?

Made turned to our direction and her gaze hardened before she took purposeful strides towards me
"Made, calm down" I said and she replied with a slap to my cheek
"I hate you! I hate you so much!" She yelled and I held her two hands
"Made please" I pleaded and Leroy walked towards us but I motioned for him to stop
"Made come lets go" Jay said and she shrugged his arms off
"No I hate him,  he has to know how much I despise him! Promise breaker!" She yelled as she trashed about
"I'll see you guys later" I said and carried Made who began to scream
"Where are you taking her to?" Jay asked and I ignored him and turned to Leroy
"Don't look for us"
