Shock

Davis

I ran to Leroy's house and ignored security that were asking me questions. I got to the boy's quarters and cussed when the door was ajar. I entered and heard banging. I followed the sound
"Hello!" I called and put my ear on the door
"Davis! Davis open the door!" Esther yelled and I turned the lock immediately and she jumped into my arms
"What happened?" I asked her and she began to sob
"Selene, Made two men" I stuttered and I raised her chin up
"Calm down" I whispered as I stared into her blood shot eyes
"Relax" I said and traced her jawline. She looked calmer but the tears were still there
"Okay now start from the beginning" I said and she swallowed

"Selene came, she said she wanted to talk so Made excused us. Suddenly Made yelled that we should run. So Selene and I went to check it out. Two men they were masked, I can't really remember what happened after because Selene hit me on my neck and I fell unconscious" she said and I sighed
"I'm going home to check Selene's tracker" I said and she held me
"Davis don't leave me" she cried and I sighed
"I can't take you with me" I said and she shook her head
"I'm following you" she said with determination and I sighed. We walked to my house and I checked the tracker
"They're in an old abandoned  hospital" I said and took out my guns to check if the bullets were enough before putting them back in my pocket
"Esther you can't come" I stated and she was about to protest but I placed my second and third fingers on her lips
"Don't argue" I said and she removed my fingers before kissing me. I kissed her back and hugged her. We stood like that for sometime before I looked at the time and released her from our hug.
"I have to go now" I said and she looked up at me with teary eyes
"Be safe"

I hugged her again before entering my car with my tracker and driving off.

Esther
I watched as Davis left the house and dialed Fade's number immediately. It rang twice before she picked it
"Hello big sis" she laughed into the phone and I sighed
"They have Made" I said getting straight to the point and she cussed
"I'm on my way" she said
"Bring the kola nut" I told her and she hung up.

I paced around the room worried for my Best friend and Selene.

What happened to them?

What will they do to them?

I heard a knock on the door and saw Fade when I opened it. I pulled her into the house and she looked at me sternly
"How could you let them take her!?" She questioned and I rolled my eyes
"I had to give up my powers to enter a church and protect your sister so blame me for not having powers" I said and grabbed the kola nut from her. She dropped my bow and arrows on the table before sitting on the chair and staring at me

Okay

Here goes nothing

I swallowed the nut without chewing it and felt a surge of electricity move round my body. I picked my bow and arrow before aiming for the tiny dot in between the hour and minute hand before shooting

It hit the target and Fade smiled
"Perfect now let's go" she said and I closed my eyes and visualised the pearl in my mind. Fade and I disappeared and reappeared in front of a door

"Cover me, while I get Made" she said and I nodded. A guard ran towards us and I shot him straight in the chest. Many began to troop in and I shot them all. A guy with Selene came and pointed a gun at her head.

"Drop your weapon and put your hands above your head!" The man yelled and I dropped bow and arrow on the floor before raising my hands.

Sucker

I pictured his neck in my mind like a pencil and broke it in the spirit realm. His face began to turn red and he let go of Selene while clawing at his neck before he fell down and died.

"Esther!" Selene ran towards me and hugged me before looking around
"What of Made?" She asked and I picked up my bow and arrow
"She's safe" I replied and she was about to ask questions when we suddenly heard Davis's voice
"I have to go" I said urgently and Selene held my hand
"no don't go anywhere" she begged and I shook my head and removed my hand
"Bye" I said and just as I saw his shadow, I envisioned the house in my mind and teleported to it.

I hid my bow and arrow under the shelf in my walk in closet and threw many clothes on top before closing the door.

Okay now I need a Bible

I looked at the one on my night stand and feared nearing it because of the results; but I have to do just that to get rid of these dark powers.

I sat beside it and felt nauseous before touching it and feeling a sharp pain in my tummy. I threw up the kola nut and held the Bible closer to my chest. I pushed the kola nut into a drawer and massaged my aching chest. I kept the bible back on my night stand before going under my bed covers and slipping into unconsciousness.
