I stared at the empty space which the masked girl occupied and stood up in anger
"What kind of mistake was that!?" I asked angrily and Leroy pulled me to the ground before another gun shot resounded. I fell on him with an omph before glaring at Leroy who was looking around cautiously
"Code red!" He yelled suddenly and the officers formed a circle around us.
"What's going on?" I asked slowly and he pulled me up
"Someone's trying to get you" he replied before corking his gun and putting me in his front
"Lets go" he said then directed me towards a van. I walked quickly while looking behind me before crouching and saying a quick prayer.
"Get in" he said and I complied before he sealed the door and sat on the other side. The remaining officers entered and the driver drove off. I studied their faces and furrowed my eyebrows

That's odd

Kyle wasn't with us

I noticed that Leroy still held his grip on my hand and began to panic

God God God, what do I do?

Suddenly an idea came to me and I decided to go with it
"Leroy" I said and he turned to me
"I need to go to the bathroom" I said and he groaned
"The shooter might be following us" he said and I began to tap my foot
"But I need to go now!" I whined and the officers groaned
"Fine, Pete stop the car" Leroy ordered and Pete parked in front of a restaurant. We came down and Leroy left his badge in the van before walking me to the front
"How may I help you?"the guard asked and Leroy smiled before sneaking his arm around my waist
"My Fiancé had a lot to drink and she needs to use the loo" he said and the guard rolled his eyes before stepping aside for us to enter. We walked towards the bathroom and I stared at him weirdly when he wanted to enter with me
"I have to protect you Made" he deadpanned and I rolled my eyes
"I can protect myself"I retorted and he sighed
"Let me at least stay outside your cubicle" he said and I sighed before entering with him. Girls stared at us and some began to swoon when he held my hand and led me to a cubicle
"Five minutes" he whispered and Made it look as if he pecked me which made all the girls to squeal in delight. I closed the door of the cubicle and began to pace in the little space in the cubicle

What can I do?

As I paced on the little space my leg suddenly kicked a can and I picked it up

Water spray

Perfect.

I opened the door to my cubicle and smiled when it was just Leroy there
"Hi" I said and he relaxed
"What took you so long?" He asked with turning to me and I brought out the water spray
"My bladder was just full" I said slowly and was about to spray him when he turned around and kicked it out of my arm
"Seriously Made?" He asked and I groaned
"The tiles have reflecting properties Made, weren't you taught in school?" He asked and I rolled my eyes before stepping in his feet and picking up the water spray
"Made be careful with that" he said and I aimed it at his chest
"I'll shoot it, let me pass" I threatened and he laughed
"Okay shoot" he said and I aimed for his stomach before shooting the water at him and dropping it in pain
"Shit!" He said then rushed to my side
"That was HCl you dummy and you aimed at yourself" he said after sniffing what I assumed to be water and raising my shirt up
"Ouch!" I groaned when he traced the red dots on my skin and glared at him when he laughed
"Here" he removed his shirt and gave me
"Wear that so that the acid on yours doesn't cause more damages" he added and I collected it before entering a cubicle.

Jerk

I change into his shirt and came out before walking out with him. We entered the van and I sat down as I did before and Pete began to drive again.
"What's up with you Made?" He asked and I ignored him but he kept all his attention on me
"I believe I asked you a question" he said and I still ignored him making him to sigh.
The car ride was quiet and the van pulled up in a police station before everyone came down
"You'll have to write a statement" he said when we got in before leading me to his office
"Okay" I whispered and sat down before picking a pen that was laid before me. I wrote everything that happened but excluded the masked girl from everything before handing the paper over to Leroy
"You forgot the masked girl" he said and I feigned confusion
"What masked girl?" I asked and he sighed
"Made I don't have time for this, include her so that I can be on my way" he said and I rolled my eyes
"I don't know any masked girl" I said and he stood up in anger
"Miss Made, I suggest you don't hide any information from the police, because there are several witnesses to testify to the masked girl being with you" he said and I stood up
"I have rights you know, I just went through a traumatic experience and you want me to remember a masked girl!?" I yelled and some officers ran into the office
"This is to help you and that girl! Dammit!" He cussed before turning to the officers
"Escort her to my home and stay around strategically" he ordered and they formed two parallel lines before motioning for me to step in their midst
"No, I'm not going anywhere, anytime until you apologize" I insisted and he looked at the officers behind me
"That was an order" he said and they all saluted before one of them came to me
"Sorry ma'am you have to come with us" he said and pulled me into their midst
"On my mark operation camouflage!" He yelled and they formed a triangle around me

This is ridiculous

"Now!" He yelled and they began walking which prompted me to follow them because of the officers at my back. People stared at them weirdly, some were trying to peep into what was in their midst

Now I understand camouflage

When we got to the van, a side of the triangle divided into two, shielding me from other people and I entered before they followed suit. The commanding officer drove to Leroy's house and I sighed when the car came to a stop in front of the gate. Two officers came down from the van and looked around before opening the gates and staying there. We drove to the boys quarter and they parked. I opened the door to come down and a force pulled me back
"Don't. We have to survey the premises" they came down and went around the premises, some went into the house  while some stayed in the car with me.
"It's all clear Miss" he said then opened the door for me. A guard stood at both sides and  in front and opposite me making me to sigh. We walked into the house and they closed the door before closing the draperies.

"I need to freshen up" I said not knowing why I even talked before walking into my room and locking the door.

Sheesh those guys don't know personal space

I removed my sweaty clothes and tied a towel before opening the bathroom door and gasping at the sight

There in my presences, was the masked girl and she was bleeding profusely
