I tired to raise my hand up but something pricked me making me to shoot my eyes open and turn to it

I closed my eyes and willed the memory to come back but it was hazy
"Mademi, you're awake"
I turned to the owner of the voice and sighed
"Jay" I said and he came to my side
"How are you feeling?" He asked and touched my forehead
"Jacob let go" I whispered and he removed his hand with a pained expression before clearing his throat
"You passed out" he said and I nodded before feeling a slight headache

I slowly massaged my head and suddenly remembered the events of the night.

Thank God I didn't embarrass myself.

I looked at the slow moving fluid and sighed before pulling the needle out and replacing it with a plaster
"What are you doing?" Jay asked and I rolled my eyes
"I'm going to see Selene" I said and removed the heart monitor clip from my thumb
"Made you need to rest" he said and I glared at him
"Whether I rest or not is none of your business Jacob" I said and he sat beside my leg
"Made please, I'm sorry that I put you in this position I really am"
"I don't want your apology!" I yelled and removed the covers from my leg
"All I wanted was for you to listen to me, to believe me!" I continued and came down from the bed
"I told you I didn't like the way Kemi made me feel, you called it jealousy"
"Each time we had a misunderstanding was because of her! But you were blinded by your perfect friendship to believe a word that I said" I sobbed angrily and he came down from the bed
"Made, I know I'm at fault and I'm sorry, please let me make it up to you" he begged and I held his shoulders
"Do me a favour Jacob and just shut up" I said and he grew surprised
"Just shut up and listen to me! Kemi is the cause of all these" I said and made gestures between us
"But what made me snap was the fact that you" I said and poked his chest
"Denied me in public twice!" I said and wiped the tears from my face violently
"You didn't defend me Jacob, you didn't have my back and that's what hurt me the most" I said and he knelt down

"Made don't cry you're hurting yourself" Esther said and cleaned the tears from my eyes
"Esther, please beg her on my behalf" Jay said and Esther smiled

"When you are ready not to have a secret relationship and not to care about what people think, then you can begin your apologies" I said and walked out of the room. I got to Selene's room and knocked lightly on the door
"Who is it?" Davis asked and I took a deep breath in before clearing my throat
"Made" I answered and suddenly the door opened
"Oh my God" he said and stared at me making me to feel self conscious and look at the ground
"What happened?" He asked and raised my head up so that my eyes could meet his gaze
"A much needed talk" I replied and smiled
"I'm okay" I added and he rolled his eyes
"Yeah no shit, you're totally okay with blood shot eyes, equally red nose and puffy cheeks" he said sarcastically and I punched his arm.
"Come in" he pulled me in and shut the door
"Selene, Made's here" he said and she cane down from her bed
"Hey" she said and hugged me.
"Hi Selene" I said and hugged her before pecking her forehead
"I cut myself" she said and looked down making me to smile
"Its okay Selene" I assured her and raised her head up
"I'm disappointed Selene, I am always available to talk" I said and looked at her bandaged wrist and little cuts that scattered around her arm
"Don't do this to yourself" I sobbed overwhelmed with emotions and her eyes got teary
"I'm sorry" she said and Davis massaged my left shoulder
"Its okay Made" he said and turned to Selene
"Baby, its okay" he cooed and she nodded before hiding her head in his bare chest
"Ask her if she's still my friend dad" Selene sobbed and I laughed at her cuteness
"Of course, I'm still your friend" I said and she turned to me
"Pinky promise?" Memories of when we met rushed and and I intertwined our fingers
"I promise" I said and she hugged me.

A nurse entered and smiled before turning to me
"K'aro (Good morning)" she said before touching my forehead and looking at the Thermometer on her wrist
"Your temperature is normal Made, have you eaten?" She asked and I shook my head making her to frown. She turned to Davis and wrote something's down
"Make sure she eats and take these drugs" she said and passed the note to him before moving to Selene and doing the same
"Your temperature is also normal. All thing being equal you should be discharged before noon" she said and walked out of the room.
"Selene freshen up" Davis told her before turning to me
"And you to Made" he added and I nodded before going back to my room.
"Esther did you bring any clothe for me?" I asked and she smiled before pulling two clothes out

One was a loose fitting sleeveless gown and the other looked like a shirt
"Who owns that?" I asked and pointed to the shirt even when I knew the answer
"Jay of course" she said and I rolled my eyes
