After Davis brought me to the chorister's room I couldn't enter. I just couldn't do it. Everyone probably thinks that I'm a criminal. That's why right now, I'm in Jay's room.

"Made" he said while shaking me
"Come on you have to use your drugs" he said and I peeled my eyes open reluctantly before sitting up and collecting the capsules from him.
"Here" he handed me a glass of water and I took the pills before sighing and hiding under the covers
"Its been two days Made you can't hide forever" he stated and I sat up
"What should I do then Jay? What on earth should I do!?" I yelled
"Why don't you talk to God?" He asked and I became humbled
"With all that has been going on, I'm sure you've not been able to talk to him" he said and I felt my eyes grow teary

Jay walked out of the room and I knelt down and placed my head on the bed

"Jay what is the problem?" I asked and a foreign officer was with him making me to sigh

I raised my eyebrow and the officer brought out an ID
"Officer Nicholas, I'm here to present the letter issued by the state court Yaba for your presence" he said and I collected the letter from him
"Okay" I replied and entered the room

The State High court Yaba, requires your presence concerning the allegations thrown at you by the American Police. Your cooperation will be appreciated

Wow, so this isn't a dream.

I looked at the date for the hearing and sighed, this afternoon.

"Made what's wrong?" He asked and I sighed before standing
"Apparently I'm going to a court this afternoon" I said and walked out of the room. I went to the chorister's room and sighed when Kemi had that evil glint in her eyes

I ignored her and searched for Esther before sighing

Where on earth did she go?

I need her support right now.

I chose a navy blue pencil skirt and a white shirt before picking up a hair brush
"What do you want?" I asked when Kemi graced me with her presence (not!)
"You owe me a sing off, that's what" she answered and I sighed
"I don't have time for that Kemi" I said and picked a navy blue blazer
"9 pm tonight, if you don't show you forfeit and I automatically win" she said and I ignored her before entering the bathroom

If anyone told me that I'll be going to court for murder, breaking in, harassment and stealing this week I would have given them the beating of a life time.

I changed out of Jay's shirt and slipped my clothes on quickly before brushing my long hair which was due for relaxing before putting it up in a pony tail

I stepped out of the bathroom and wore Esther's heels before walking back to Jay's room.

Cue wolf whistle.

He looked dapper in his black tux and bow tie. He looked the door and intertwined our fingers before kissing mine
"I love you Made, we'll go through this together" he said and I smiled. We walked back to the chorister's room and I frowned

What is he doing?

"Everyone I want you attention!" Jay said and everyone turned to us
"As we all know accusations are being thrown at Made and we're going to the court this afternoon" he said and I groaned internally

"I expect everyone to support us with their prayers" he said and turned me around for us to leave before stopping he squeezed my fingers in assurance and I smiled at him before he led me to his car and drove to the court.

"Come on the traffic light was in red!" Jay yelled in frustration as the Danfo driver slipped a twenty naira note in the traffic warden's palm before driving off
"That's the world for you Jay, corrupt and wicked" I said as the light finally turned green.
"God should help us" he said and drove into the court which was just around the corner.

So many armed officers were there: both foreign and local sending chills to my spine

I came down from the car and wore sunglasses before Jay came to my back
"Stomach in, chest out, and ooze confidence, you are perfect" he whispered and I smiled before dropping it and walking into the court room. I sat in the front row and saw Davis standing beside that Leroy guy. The judge entered and everyone stood up before sitting back down
"Miss Ade please step forward" he said and I went to him a woman came to me before opening the witness stand and ushering me in
"Christian, Muslim or pagan?" She asked
"Christian" I answered and she gave me a Bible
"Say I and mention your name" she said and I started
"I Oluwamadelemilori"
"Promise that everything that comes out of my mouth will be the truth and nothing but the truth" she said and I repeated after her
"So help me God" I whispered and she smiled
"Amen" she went back to her position in front of the judge and he collated some papers before looking at me
