Stolen kisses

Davis 
After staring at Selene's sleeping figure for sometime, I went to the bathroom and washed my shirt before going back to the room shirtless. I kept it under the fan and sat down before pulling my phone out

Davis: do you want to come over?

I stared at the text before hitting send and gasped

Crap crap crap

I look like a high school student begging for love.

I waited anxiously for her reply and took out the phone when I heard the familia message tone
Esther: why? So that you can apologise?

No no no

Davis: Esther please let me explain

Esther: fine, explain

Yay progress!

Davis: come to Selene's room

I stared at the text and sighed.

So much for progress.

I heard the door creak opened and smiled a cashmere grin when Esther walked in

"Let's go to the balcony" I said and dragged her.
"Davis" Esther started and I raised up my hand
"Let me talk please" I said and she rolled her eyes
"You do realise that..." She wasn't able to complete her sentence because I pecked her jaw. She started blushing like crazy and I smiled

Mission accomplished

"Esther, I'm not a man of emotions but trust me when I tell you that I have feelings for you" I started and kissed her left cheek when she was about to talk

"Nothing happened between Made and I, our relationship is strictly platonic" I added and she was about to talk then I kissed her right cheek

"I'm sorry that I hurt you and I'm sorry that Selene also hurt you, she mean no harm" I said and she was about to say something making me kiss her fore head
"You really like me kissing you huh?" I teased and he face turned into a deeper shade of red. She looked everywhere but my face making me to smile and continue

"Please forgive me?" I asked the kissed her nose
"Hey I didn't talk!" She said and I smiled
"You just did" with that I slowly kissed her lips and smiled when she kept her hand on my chest. I snaked my arm around her waist and laughed when she bit my lip playfully. I pulled out and hugged her

"Do you forgive me?" I asked
"Will I do this if I haven't?" She asked before reconnecting our lips. I carried her and she giggled when I pressed kisses on her neck and jawline

"Davis" She laughed as her melodious voice rang throughout the night and I stared at her.
"Do you know how beautiful you are?"
"Yeah pretty much"
"Hey!" I said and she laughed before I sat down and kept her on my lap. She placed her head on my chest and traced my abs making me to relax and play with her braided hair.

"Davis what about Selene?" She asked and I kiss her hair
"Don't worry, I'll take care of it" I said and she snuggled deeper into my chest before falling asleep.

I took my time to examine her beautiful features in the moonlight; her oval face, her beautiful dark chocolate skin, her long eye lashes, her pink lips, and the birthmark on her right eyelid.

Davis you are so whipped

I carried her back to Made's room and placed her gently on the couch before sighing
"Who are you to Esther?" The ex asked and I paused

Who am I to her?

"That doesn't concern you lover boy" I said and he stood up
"The name's Jacob" he said and I smirked
"Okay Jacob, it is none of your business, so if you'll excuse me" I said and walked away before turning back
"Oh and tell Made to come see Selene without the IV needles and drips; I don't want my daughter to feel threatened by Made's health" I said
"Okay I will" he said without looking at me and I walked back to Selene's room before closing the door and sitting on the bed.

I sure hope Selene gets better

I grasped her palm in mine and fell asleep, praying for the first time in years for Selene's health.

"Dad"
"What?" Immediately sat up at alert and scanned the room before turning to Selene.

Phew she's okay
"Dad!!" She whined and I raised my eyebrow
"I want to pee"
"Then go and pee" I said and she rolled her eyes
"Let go of my hand dad!" She yelled and I stared at her hand which was still in mine before chuckling and letting it go
"Geez" she sped walked into the bathroom and I looked at the plane walls of the ward which was illuminated by the sun.
"Where's your shirt dad?" She asked and I kept my head on the arm rest
"You mean the one you puked all over?" I asked and her face turned red in embarrassment

"Its way over there" I pointed to the plastic chair under the fan and she walked towards it
"Put it on dad" she tossed it at me and I caught it with ease making her to stomp her foot and go back to her bed
"When can we go back to the hotel?" She asked and I sighed
"Selene I honestly don't know, hopefully they wouldn't put you on suicide watch" I said and she casted her eyes down
"Princess" I said and sat beside her on the bed
"Why'd you do it?" I asked and she looked anywhere but me
"Selene" I pressed further and she turned to me
"I'm sorry Dad, I just really miss mom and I don't know what came over me, it just felt right at the moment" we said and I turned her to face me
"Selene I'm not mad at you" I whispered and kissed her forehead
"I'm mad at myself, I made you miss mum too much. I'm sorry" I apologized and we just held each other, comforting one another until we heard a knock making me to turn my head
"Who is it?" I asked
"Made" a small voice answered and I opened the door
"Oh my God" I whispered at the sight of her face
